Does it really need to fly? (serious question) What if you ran the encounter on the astral plane? Everything can fly there. Or confine the encounter to an enclosed space that where the PC's can fly all they want but they'll be within the Tarrasque's reach?

I have the dungeon one, it's pretty handy and nice. Nice and handy.

I don't know exactly how Hackmaster works but I think they did buy some sort of 2E license from TSR. Or the rights to use it or something. Those in the know could straighten that out.

My players either have a copy of etools and send me a copy or use the program on my tablet pc during the game. I always have a sheet handy in case they forget theirs.

We'd all be playing Hackmaster most likely....

Who was being the jerk? Making smartass comment about a typo? Actually my opinion was based on my experience with Mongoose books. Example: their Classic Play books, The book of Encounters was shoddily done with grammatical errors and the encounters (many of them) were just flawed. I can't...

What is even more ironic, no not ironic, tragic is that you don't know the definition of irony. And normally I spell encounters with an "e" or maybe I was demonstrating my point....with an error. You just never know do ya?

A least once or twice every session for me. The nastiest grappler I've run so far has got to be the marilith. Hit, grapple, squeeze, render unconscious. Rinse and repeat.
