It's Mongoose so it will be overpriced, filled with errors and incomplete incounters.

One of my concerns is the ranged touch attack for everything. Since touch attacks are much easier to hit overall I'm worried about other players getting overshadowed.

I'm looking for some experience here. One of my players is thinking of playing a warlock and I want to know from players who have played the class how you feel the class plays in different situations. And DM's how has the class affected your campaign. Discuss.

True, but do you notice its almost always in the ability they don't need? If I'm building a mage, and my 2 stats left to place are a 14 and an 8 which one to do you think I'm going to put into INT? Of course a wizard is a really bad example of a MAD character.

I would agree. I think the paladin would not want a low score (under 10) in those three key abilities I mentioned.

I understand that they don't have to be front liners. But to use the smite evil ability, they need to hit what they're trying to smite. And heal and protect.

I do. A paladin needs a good charisma score to be an effective diplomat and to turn undead. He needs a good strength score to be able to hit and smite that evil, and he needs a good wisdom score to be able to cast his spells effectively. The paladin is a busy class. Or have I missed your point...

Once again the case is made for beer+fishing. Nobody gets shot and after a while it doesn't really matter if you don't catch anything.
