Yeah, that is kinda weird. But then I guess more 4E detractors take an interest in 4E threads, than the Pathfinder detractors. I'm personally happy that BOTH Paizo and Wizards are selling well and hope that their sales will continue to increase, because with more sales comes more income for 3PPs...

I love how that GSL is holding up our entire industry in one way or another. Some are waiting for an alternate GSL, others are forming new companies to use it and remain safe while yet others forge ahead without the GSL.

In other words, True20? Might think about checking out True20 if you feel this way, it is an awesome product and the Revised Corebook is even better than the original!

@One Bad Egg: Considering your RPGNow ratings I'm surprised you haven't broken even yet. Was it the art that "broke the camels back" on this project? I came here to congratulate you on selling well, but it seems I was misguided in my views.

I would say that Dreamscarred Press would be in with something like this, especially if it was tied closely/integrated with ENWorld.

Hell yeah! Released under Open Gaming Licenses they could really blossom in a way they didn't have a chance to do the first time they came around. And I'm not saying they should be D20, but just open!

Great, in which case people can expect PDFs at a later stage as Web Enhancements for Complete Control. It is btw in the LATE stages of being released, we're essentially doing the final touches. It is at 99%/100% right now and I am estamating a release later tonight.

It should be completely compatible. You'd get psionic races, a few "psionic" feats, a few new supernatural powers and stuff like that. You'd have to wait for Psion's Handbook for the indepth look at Psionics in True20. Although, once Third Dawn True20 is out, we WILL be releasing Phrenic Shards...

To be honest it isn't that difficult to match up the articles with the layout and style of Complete Control. You wouldn't happen to have the articles as text-documents, now would you? Because if you did, it would be even easier to transfer them since the tables would be correctly formatted...

Once the articles are finished, we could look into making them available as a PDF download, but it all depends on how copyright defines "publish". We'll see, but it should be doable.

What in LPJ's statement says that he is releasing this under the GSL? His PDF has LPJ's own 4th Edition compatible logo and nowhere do I see him mention "Dungeons & Dragons". Better ask him if he's even touching the GSL before making assumptions. :) So, LPJ - is it GSL?

Well, we'll all get to see soon. :) However, it is a low-risk scenario for us. Well, if Third Dawn does well, we'll have more time and money to do new projects. If Third Dawn is released before Oct 31st, I'd say that the True20 version should be available before November 30th, if all goes well.

Dreamscarred Press is working on a "Smart Setting"* called Dark Earth which is Science-Fantasy, with a slant towards Sci-Fi on that scale. Goodman Games is publishing DEM's "Amethyst" setting which is also part Fantasy, part Sci-Fi. *= Smart Settings will be a series of short (20 pages)...

Thankyou. Dreamscarred Press is trying a few new concepts, among those is a series of "Smart Settings" which are about 20 pages each. The idea is that if people like/support one, we can expand it into a line of setting supplements. I wish we had more time to write under these circumstances...
