What was the point of Mordenkainen being in the module? It seems the encounter him is entirely superfluous... was it just for the name drop? I see no point in having this encounter, so I am removing it in its entirety.

I am going to play it that the Cult of the Dead Three will be an unknown until the group finds them. I like adding a little more mystery to the game.

How do you handle Defiling?

Yep, extremely powerful, and opens the way for some smitable crit fishing if you are somehow able to get advantage on the roll. Interesting ability. I like the flavor of Glorious Defense. Seems a bit weak for a 15th level ability, but also fun to use. The capstone also looks interesting.

I don't think it's Dark Sun. Spelljammer? They have a lot of aberrant creatures flying around in space. But the water theme gives me pause.

With an Int save...that's big. Not many Int save spells.
