    DC Gameday IV -- March 14th, 2009 ** VENUE CHANGE **

Bump again. Still a couple open spots. Also, if you haven't sent me your name to include on the sign-in sheet for the security guard, please do so! Finally, we're trying to get a head-count for an after-gameday dinner, so if you're interested head over to the DC Gameday forum and chime in.

    Saturday night?

I'd be up for Cap City.

    Afternoon: The Spectre over Specularum

There's also a bunch of slots open in the Hollow Earth game too, I think.

Song of Ice and Fire RPG

I'm about halfway through so far and digging it. I was kinda 'meh' on the last GRR Martin book, so I was a little apprehensive. So far, though, it looks like they've done a good job of letting you keep some distance between the novels and the game world. The dice mechanic is interesting...

Bump for the weekend crowd. Still some slots open for the procrastinators, too.

    DC Gameday IV -- March 14th, 2009 ** VENUE CHANGE **

Walk faster :p I switched it to walking directions because the place is riddled with one-way streets. If you walk the 'car' directions, you have to go in a several block loop.

Fantasy or sci-fi boardgames with the highest replayability?

AH's Dune. Nothing else is even close for depth and replayability. Defines 'simple to learn, hard to master'. I'm enjoying the new(ish) FFG Battlestar Galactica game, but I think the replayability is a little low unless you've consistently got a decent number of players.

    RE: Reveille

Ditto. Hope everything turns out well.

Afternoon - Kobolds Ate My Baby

I'll cheerfully defer to Old One, then, and dibs a spot at NC Gameday.

[Dread] Jenga beat up my dice! My results from the indie horror RPG.

At least you died making a pull this time. Not, say, while tapping the tower to find the loose blocks while the GM was talking...

    Well, that was painless

In at 12, booked a room at the Embassy, and done by 12:04. Gotta give them props; when they said they were introducing a new registration system I figured we'd be in for a disaster of biblical proportions, but so far it's been exceptional. The real test, though, is True Dungeon.

    Morning: MIA (Dread)

Certainly. Cool. And the characters are gender flexible; that's just the list from the last time.

Afternoon - Kobolds Ate My Baby

That's why we call you T-Bag. If Rel's gonna run this at NC Gameday, I could be persuaded to defer to Old One.

    Munchies

I was, but when Rel pointed out what holiday it was, I assumed he was taking care of the er, refreshments.
