Backbeat, if you think about it, our XP system actually rewards players to use XP based spells/crafting etc. You may loose a little bit of XP and drop behind in level for a session or two but then with the bonus XP you get from being behind, you will catch up quickly. Just my 2cp. Cheers, E

If the rest of the party hasn't been helping him out with tactics then I can definately see why he is having issues. Rogues are highly dependant on other's help during combat to be effective. They counter this by being a fairly solo playable outside of combat. As Wulf said, Imp. Invis. is...

Another class combo I was thinking up was Swordsage/Duskblade/JPM. What classes would others choose before getting into this PRC? Swordsage 2/Duskblade 6/JPM 10 would be an interesting build. I might actually end up statting up this character :) Any thoughts on stat alottments and feats...

This makes all kinds of sense to me. And rereading stuff I agree with Blarg, seeing as its an immediate, probably going with no AoO but definately thinking about changing it to a swift action and letting the player decide if he wants to keep it or not. Still deciding tho. Cheers, E

I think that maybe Spell-like with AoO but seeing as you can do it defensively its pretty much a no brainer for the Wizard, his concentration is thru the roof.

Yeah I am finding it a tad over powered as well :( and the campaign I run is fairly high powered, 32 pt buy Gestalt game. The character with this is currently a Bugbear Ninja/Wizard who is nigh impossible to pin down, altho managed to nearly decimate him with my slightly powerful Shifter...

Alot of it sounds like he isn't able to get sneak attacks off. What kind of monsters are you sending at him? If they are mainly Plants, Constructs, Undead etc. then he is going to have a rough time no matter what. If its due to the fact that he can't flank, get the Wizard to use summon spells...

Sorcs can do that as well :) They just need to take the Metamagic Specialist Variant from PHB2, allows them to use Metamagic effects without increasing casting time 3 +int bonus/day. Cheers, E

Np :) The series gets really good, I have borrowed pretty much all of Blargs Eberron books so far (think he has all that have been printed). Needless to say we really enjoy the setting. Plus I go thru one book every night or two :confused:
