Dragonlance: Key of Destiny & WOL

Hello everyone! Has anyone picked up the first Key of Destiny yet? Does anyone know if it is set firmly in the age of Mortals, or could it be played pre or immediately post WOL? Also, I hear the WOL sourcebook was on track for Gencon release. Any word on that? Thanks, Razuur

    Gygax's views on OGL

I think that Mr. Gygax is allowed his opinion. That said, I am glad he wasn't at the helm to prevent D20 from coming to be. D20/OGL has really made some great products and really strengthened the industry. I have always felt that this is a second golden age dor RPing. After the first year...

    Warcraft Really Need 3.5?

I would say you'll be able to get by just peachy with your 3.0 books... To me that just indicates 3.5 compliance, to those who make a distinction (I don't!)

    .....

I don't find odd numbered ability modifiers to be unbalancing at all, but that is just me. I also thought the odd modifiers an interesting way to differentiate a variant. I am impressed that Great Mastiff is listening to posters. I plan on checking out the setting before getting out a filet...

    Midnight - 2005

Wow. You have just made my week. That is astounding news. I can't wait. Any idea when it is coming out? BTW, I love your site - and I love Tome of Sorrows. In our group, that tome is as official and essential as the the FFG products. I can't wait for your next netbook. Razuur

    Midnight - 2005

Hello fellow gamers. I love Midnight. It is one of my favorite campaign settings of all time. We got 4 books in 2003. This year, I believe we are getting 3 - the first of which is already out. Does anyone have any idea if this is the finale for this line, or can we expect even more great...

    R U Playing?

The whole D20 Modern thing can be kind of sensitive on these boards. Sometimes it seems that unless you love D20M, you get ripped to pieces. Each unto their own - and here is my opinion. So here goes! 1. I like the idea of D20 Modern. As a GM, I think that too much Unearthed Arcana...

    Medieval d20

If you are going for a true medieval feel, the I recommend the Medieval Players Handbook (GRR) and Love and War (Atlas) - both by David Chart of Ars Magica fame. You should easily be able to create an accurate medieval game. Legends of Excalibur has a real Arthurian feel. Philosophy: make the...

    The New Polyhedron Magazine

How about calling it the "icosahedron"? :D Seriously though. since I no longer purchase Dragon or Dungeon, I would buy this product. The minigames were simply awesome, and I was real saddened to see them go. Razuur

An Open Letter to Dragon and Dungeon Readers

This is the complete wrong direction for me. I understand that Paizo has a business to run, and is catering to their larger audience. I respect this, and wish them well. Unfortunately, the Poly and D20 content were the reason i bought the mags. I wish you folks well. i will miss the monthly...

FYI: AEG Postpones Swashbuckling Adventures/7th Sea RPG Line

This is a sad day. I have bought every 7th sea thing I could find since Swashbuckling adventures came out. I wonder if they are putting all of their cards into Accordlands. I hope it works out for them. I will miss buying thier products, as the 7th sea line was top notch. At this rate, I...

    Adventure - Trinity, Aberrant, etc

Well Von Ether, I hate to break your bubble, but I am not one of those people you are talking about! Until 3e, I played a 1e/Arcanum (by Bard Games) system since the early eighties. For Sci Fi, we vigorously played WEG's Star Wars and FASA's Star Trek For Spying, we visited exotic locales...
