Fist of stone, does it stack with other bonuses?

That should be: If you had both active, you would get +2 to all str Skills (from Bull's Strength), and +3 to attacks/grapples/breaking/crushing. Fist of stone gives +6 to str, resulting in a +3 str bonus

Do Familiars gain feats? And another question...

I knew there was a way! You can use the 6th lvl (sor/wiz) spell 'Imbue Familiar with Spell Ability' (SC) to allow it to cast spells (whether that makes him qualify for Reserve Feats would be up to your DM.....)

Do Familiars gain feats? And another question...

No. Holding a touch spell is having a spell ready to deliver, not to cast.

    Methods that ignore SR?

There's also Doom Scarabs from PHII, which actually benefits from using it on a creature with SR....

    Fire spells without cap

The (linked) Wings of Flurry mentioned is a Force spell (not a fire spell).

    Fire spells without cap

For reference: Current build is Sorcerer 1/Wizard 5/Ultimate Magus 6/Sacred Exorcist 1/Silver Pyromancer 1 (qualified for UM using Greater Draconic Rite of Passage) so yes, I've got both sorcerer and wizard as a base. However, although silver pyromancer doesn't explicitly state it, I agreed...

    Fire spells without cap

I only recently got into the PrC, and for a long time my focus wasn't fire at all. I am currently wondering whether to get Energy Substitution as a feat. Although there are several others that are more interesting at the moment (like Practiced Spellcaster, which would increase CL for ALL my...

    Fire spells without cap

Thanks for the Greater Fireburst, Orb of Fire, Fire & Brimstone and Bright Worms suggestions. As to Empowering spells: thanks, but I got that covered. I was explicitly looking for spells that benefit from higher Caster Level, not increased spell level....

    Fire spells without cap

I recently entered a prestige class (Silver Pyromancer) that let's me cast fire spells at a higher level than my normal Arcane spellcaster level. However, most fire spells I know cap out at about CL 10. So, I'm looking for (lvl 1-5) fire spells that do NOT cap out at CL 10, but do additional...

    Treat Heavy Armor as Light?

Jack Simth: Good arguments. I'll see if I can convince my DM to: a) allow this magic item b) make it available c) allow it to be enchanted like normal armor.

    Treat Heavy Armor as Light?

Grogg of the North: that's like bracers of armor++, right? so no further enhancements beyond the +8 AC. Thurbane: I think you are referring to "Halfweight" armor. As far as I can tell, it reduces the weight of the armor, and all armor with this enhancement is treated as light (so no mithral...

    Treat Heavy Armor as Light?

Is there a way to reduce armor two categories? I know Mithral reduces the armor by one, but I'm looking for a second 'step'. I'm currently playing a Fighter/Ranger that wants to benefit from the Rangers TWF but also would like to wear Full Plate. Any options?

+1 to existing spellcasting class, Ranger, Paladin

I understand that, but that was not the question. The question is: is a ranger considered a 'spellcasting class' before reaching lvl 4 in regards to casting progression?

+1 to existing spellcasting class, Ranger, Paladin

The prestige class I had in mind is the Dragonslayer from the Draconomicon. requirements: Base Attack Bonus: +5. Feats: Dodge, Iron Will. Skills: Tumble 2 ranks In my case, I would enter the PrC with two levels of Ranger. The Dragonslayer grants +1 spellcasting at levels 1, 3, 5,7 and 9...

+1 to existing spellcasting class, Ranger, Paladin

If a Prestige Class does not require spellcasting, but DOES progress it, would Paladin or Ranger be eligable for the spellcasting progression before level 4? I understand you can't qualify, because you do not have a caster level or spellcasting before level 4, but are they considered...

Enemies with a visible weak point

Treat the hart as a seperate creature 4 size categories smaller and cover for which they have to ready an attack to be able to hit it.

    Custom Advancement

Mutants and Masterminds (Green Rohnin I think) has custom advencement similar to that. However, that is a superheroes game, and also includes a whole bunch of other different ways of building characters and progressing them. They probably have a game system like that for fantasy as well, but...

AD&D 2E 2e: how many spells can a cleric use?

A 2nd edition cleric and wizard prepare spells per day. In your example, the three spells can be cast once each in a single day. If you want to use the same spell twice, you have to prepare it twice. The big difference between Wizard and Cleric is that the Wizard needs to have the spell in...

    Feat requirement: Dodge

I'm evaluating the 'Dragon Slayer' prestige class from the Draconomicon as a potential prestige class for my character. Among the other requirements, it requires the Dodge Feat. I've run into several other prestige classes in my quest for a suitable prestige class requiring that Feat, and just...

D&D 3.x D&D 3.5 Magic Item Creation Feat Prerequisite and Practiced Spellcaster

I don't know which book it is from (DM provided the prestige class as a seperate text because he wants to limit access to the rest of the book) and there were other 'issues' with the PrC that made me wonder whether I should take it at all. The prerequisite did, however, raise several questions...
