King Kubrick: Ranking Stanley's Best Films

2001, Shining, and Clockwork Orange are all superb, they hit differently, though all must see.

TTRPG Genres You Just Can't Get Into -and- Tell Me Why I'm Wrong About X Genre I Don't Like

I played Champions back when it came out in 1981, it was ok. Not reading the comics, or watching the movies, I don't really know anything about the genre. Romance, all that, yeah no. Sci-fi is really my favorite, though I have played D&D, and Call of Cthulhu recently.

Worlds of Design: The Problem with Space Navies, Part 2

Plausibility and Play-ability is what I shot for in Kosmic/Solis People of the Sun, also design elements like big fonts. Both I have been complimented on so I hit my mark. It's a great value.

    Spoilers Alien: Earth Spoiler Thread

Esp the opening scene, if it is before all life on Earth, it's nonsense. Herpetologists aren't doing it for the money, that is for sure.

US Tariffs: $80-$200 Surcharge On All Packages Regardless of Price

Most of my sales are from pdf, so that won't get hit. It would be amazing to get into the Asian market though.

    Spoilers Alien: Earth Spoiler Thread

Sure, and why I say that you have to be a connoisseur of cheesy sci-fi to appreciate them. Tying all three into an 80's dystopia is sort of genius. Plus for the criticisms of Prometheus, it does have Noomi Rapace, and Idris Alba, such a good cast. The herpetologist touching the alien snake? I...

    Spoilers Alien: Earth Spoiler Thread

Yes, because then you would hate City of Lost Children, and that would be absurd. I would say even the worst of the movies essentially work, it's a hardy setting, the worst film, is in fact one of the AVP's. The straight Alien ones are at least all watchable.

    Spoilers Alien: Earth Spoiler Thread

Banish you, it has Ron Perlman. While Resurrection and Prometheus have terrible stories, they are well made; curiously enough also similar to RPG sessions, (or ironically). I saw Alien in the theater, and while Dallas was in the air ducts, a woman started uncontrollably screaming so they had to...
