Necromancer Games Goes 4th Edition! Planned Product Updates!

Good news even though I'm not sure about 4e. I did wonder if there would be a Tome of Horrors for it.

Please recommend a good Level 6 adventure to me

I like the Grey Citadel from Necromancer Games, this is a 3.0 adventure, but it is still a good one. See my review for more detail

Castle & Crusades - who has tried it stuck with it?

For me (mainly playing so far) it's quicker prep time, less of the massive rulesets of 3e D&D, easier adaptation from earlier editions and easier houseruling. Also my main group that I play D&D games with have moved mainly to C&C so its the default option now.

    So... what about WFRP?

I like WFRP 2 a lot, its pretty balanced (or at least as much as D&D 3.5 often is) and it has a very strong flavour of its setting as the rules are very tied to the overall background though they could be used in other settings. The grim and gritty bit is often overplayed as you can have other...

    Doctor Who 2007: Blink

That really was a good episode using a clever plot device at the end and being genuinely scary. Looking forward to Captain Jack's return next week though.

    Best level to play?

3-7th probably tend toward the higher with spellcasters for greater range of choice.

Things to do in London when you're dead

If you've still got time I think Sir John Soane's museum at Lincoln's Inn Fields is well worth a visit and not far from the British Museum too. www.soane.org

Do you allow murder within the party?

Rare in anything except Paranoia, though in WFRP or CoC it might happen, but very very rare in D&D or similar types of game.

    Discworld

Small Gods and Going Postal are two that work better as stand alone reads. The witches books are better read in order and the quality improves after the first few, though not everyone enjoys ever single one as much as the others. ;)
