I actually liked this episode as it was a break from the Dr Who norm and it did some fun things with the behaviour of fans.

I liked this episode even though it had some plot holes in it and decided continuity issues from the rest of the series (Ianto and Jack's relationship for example). Did anyone else notice that the drug they give to people is nicknamed "retcon"?

This was a satisfying conclusion to a good two parter. I think I maybe prefer the Impossible Planet slightly more if only for the opening when the Ood surround the Doctor and Rose saying "we must feed" (not spoilered as its the pre credit sequence).

Some, but its pretty much end of the pier stuff (ok, British cultural reference). I suspect that us Brits tend to be a bit less fussy about it as we have a cultural tradition of fart jokes and Benny Hill so unless you've got a very serious deep immersion group there are usually quips flying.

I actually enjoyed this episode, but at times the Torchwood team seem to be the office from hell rather than what is supposed to be a high caliber intelligence unit. Then again with what the real UK security services were like in the past (at least according to Spycatcher) maybe that is realism.

I went with Cha even though in 3.5 it is a much more useful attribute than in some earlier editions.

I enjoyed this two parter a lot, but not as much as the two parter that ends the season. The sf/horror plot may be a little bit cliched (Event Horizon, Doom), but it was well done.
