Do you get an Opportunity Attack if a creature takes a 5 foot step (OK, 1 square step)?
I would think "no" although a fighter would get one if it was a "shift" (as opposed to using your move action to only move 1 square), right?
Yea it is almost like WotC made it hard to PbP so that you would opt to pay for their "virtual tabletop" instead... naaaaah they would never do that.:)
Just read through this a bit ThirdWizard and it looks great. You did an awesome job.
PS: If you all want to print it out, you can save it as a text file. you will lose a lot of the great formating but it will be b&w.

For a burst you pick a square of origin, then go 1 square to each side, so a "burst 1" takes up 9 squares (X=origin square):
