Is there any way for two characters to 'combine' a turning attempt, thereby increasing its potency? Or is there a way for one character (say, a paladin) to aid another pc (say, a cleric) in turning? Thanks. -F

Two things. First, the Hunter of the Dead prestige class doesn't seem to take into account the errata for DotF saying that the Hunter class' turn ability increases as per a cleric of the PC's hunter level. I'm pretty sure that's just a bug. Not a huge deal. Then there's the 'educated' feat...

Well, you're half right. As drowning/asphyxiation don't actually deal *damage* per se, creatures with regeneration are vulnerable to them. So you *can* drown a troll to death. You're right about instant death things though. Personally, I think the big T should be akin to Godzilla... back...

Agreed. I much prefer the pre-errata Tarrasque. It's a LOT more fun if you can only kill it by drowning or asphyxiating it. Beating it *really* unconcious and then wishing it dead seems kinda... blah to me. -F

It's irrelevant whether the Tarrasque takes subdual damage from +5 weapons, acid, or pink kittens traveling at 25000kph. NOTHING deals normal damage to the Tarrasque. Regardless of how much subdual damage it takes from various attacks, none of them will actually lower its *real* HP total. You...
