Reign of the Radar Men - Hollow Earth Expedition - Thrus. 1-5

On the one hand, I've never played HEX before, don't have any Pulp on my GenCon schedule yet, and love the minis I've seen in the pics for this game! On the other hand, I was planning on trawling the dealers room at this time, my schedule is filling, and I'm signed up for a game from 9am to 1pm...

    Thinking of running a game . . .

Stop worrying! You'll do great! Just make sure madwabbit isn't in and you'll be fine. ;) (you hijack my thread, I hijack yours :D )

    Worst role-playing experience?

Is believing one's soul is somehow draconic any more unreal than believing that a sky god throws down lightning bolts or that water can be magically turned into wine or that the placement of the stars at someone's birth somehow controls their destiny? Are you afraid of people who believe these...

    Worst role-playing experience?

What, exactly, is scary about that?

    How this Forum Works

Corrollary? ;) On a more serious note, since this will be my first time at GenCon, where exactly will the ENWorld games be? Is there a general area for open gaming outside of the regular GenCon events?

Good adventure for level 6-8 PCs set in the desert

You could try the adventure Mysterious Ways from Issue 86 of Dungeon Magazine. It's for a level 7 party and is set during the Crusades in what is now Israel and Jordan, but it's pretty easy to convert into a fantasy setting, and it's pretty desert like. It's 3.0, of course, if that's a problem...

Dude, Who Stole My Bomb? - Mutants & Masterminds 2E [Accepting ALTS]

Your ShazBlast? Why should I be afraid of your ShazBlast? Judas Priest rocks harder than you guys! :p

Dude, Who Stole My Bomb? - Mutants & Masterminds 2E [Accepting ALTS]

Rodrigo says that Dread will tell you what darkness lies in the hearts of gamers, but from everything I've heard about this game, it's even more true here!

New Golbins Strip up! March 20

Goblins. Rocks. This is a good update... very tense, even with a couple funny lines, and with a great cliffhanger ending. He's killin' me! I actually hope he can sometime quit his day job and work on Goblins full time, but I can see how that'd be risky. But I am seriously addicted to this strip.

Dread -- Wreck of the Morro Castle -- Full Again

Cool, thanks! It's interesting to see the stuff that's built-in vs. what the players added.

Weekend Warriors: Savage Worlds - Modern Horror - Slots Open

Just wanted to say that this game featured probably the most fun I've ever seen with a minivan. Thanks for running the game, QuinnHarlech. It was good.

    DC Gameday - Thank you!

And thank YOU for running it and introducing about half of us to the Dread system. I've never had so much fun playing Jenga before, nor role-playing without dice!

Welcome to ENWorld DC Area Gameday II -- Saturday, March 15 2008

Thanks so much to everyone, especially Madwabbit, QuinnHarlech, and Rodrigo for organizing the event, GMing a game for me, and both respectively. And thanks to all the players... it was fun. Thanks for putting up with my secretive characters ;)

Welcome to ENWorld DC Area Gameday II -- Saturday, March 15 2008

Count me in too... I'll be metroing down from Silver Spring, so I'll get the fun red line stuff as well... But we get a room and it's on Metro, so I'll still be there no problem.
