It depends on what you mean by "use". I own the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting, and will probably never play in a Forgotten Realms campaign, but I will read and enjoy the book, plus pull a few ideas from it.

Plus, if I remember correctly, the license says 5% of the *text* of the covered product must be OGC. 100% of the text in this book is OGC.

I received the Elmore Character Clip Art & Color Customizing Studio in the mail today. It is very cool. 96 pages of excellent character portraits (200+ drawings), plus a CD with them on it in TIFF format.

One of my settings suggested that magic is simply an extension of science. There's nothing unnatural about it, as it has and will always be a part of the world. Therefore, wizards are basically scientists. That lead wizards in my setting to be gadget guys, inventing new contraptions.

Have the PCs seen the bodies? Maybe the orcs are killing only the weak ones, and bringing the stronger ones to their shadowy cult leader, Rendart Clayleg, who polymorphs them into pretty, brightly-colored birds to add to his personal aviary.
