    D&D and the rising pandemic

Honestly, I would say that ad is mild in its portrayal of covid in comparison to reality.

I see the owner of the Golden Bay cafe is applying to be a future HCA winner.

    D&D and the rising pandemic

That is a great new development. A lot of rich countries have neglected their duties to provide vaccines to more impoverished nations, while their citizens happily go on vacation without a care in the world to those same nations.

    Star Wars Reboot

There have been fan edits that remove Jar Jar from the Phantom Menace entirely, and it barely improves the movie. Little Anny is still an annoying presence that rivals Jar Jar, and the dialogue is still atrocious.

    Star Wars Reboot

I would keep the basic heroes journey, but rework the plot and characters. Just because it's a reboot, does not mean you need to redo the exact same thing. Then I would include one of each marginalized group as if simply checking boxes, and hope the audience doesn't call me out on it. I would...

    What'd everyone get?

I got myself a huge painting of my MMO character, framed on the wall.

    D&D and the rising pandemic

I continue to be frustrated by the fact that there are still people who don't know how to properly wear a mask. It's been over 2 years already! Cover your nose + mouth, why is this so hard? While on the train, I noticed a passenger loudly breathing through his nose, while his mask only covered...

    D&D and the rising pandemic

And slowly the world becomes a better place. This year we've lost a lot of selfish jerks who are proud to be jerks. And those we haven't lost (yet) have gotten fines.

Vader vs Soth: Fight! Who wins?

    D&D and the rising pandemic

It takes a special kind of stupid to catch covid twice, and still refuse getting vaccinated after that first infection. He basically dodged a bullet, and concluded that he must be invincible! Are we done with these people yet? I'm looking at my field of F's to give, and am finding it barren...

    D&D and the rising pandemic

The Netherlands is ramping up their booster campaign, but they are once again chasing after the facts, as seems to be the trend of our current cabinet. Omicron is already here, and I don't have my booster shot yet (like the majority of our country), and I won't be able to get it until early next...

D&D General "Red Orc" American Indians and "Yellow Orc" Mongolians in D&D

Would much be lost if some of these problematic works were just discontinued? No warning labels, no ammendments. Just removed? It seems to me that with the same effort that would go into 'fixing' these works, you could create something entirely new that has none of the baggage.

D&D General "Red Orc" American Indians and "Yellow Orc" Mongolians in D&D

I think there is a big difference between 'what you can get away with' and creating a setting that is not offensive. I disagree that wether a portrayal of a culture is offensive, is entirely subjective. It isn't. There are ways to do so without being disrespectful, regardless of what year the...

D&D General "Red Orc" American Indians and "Yellow Orc" Mongolians in D&D

Is it though? I think we can all agree that Chief Sitting Drool is objectively offensive. I Also think there are ways to take inspiration from a culture, without creating an offensive racist stereotype of that same culture.
