    D&D and the rising pandemic

I think another part of the problem is that we have all underestimated the danger that anti vaxers and conspiracy theorists pose. We should have been taking it a lot more serious, because a lot of them are dangerous zealots.

    Cowboy Bebop live-action series

I don't think I've ever seen a liveaction adaption of any anime that I liked, and that has me a little bit worried about Cowboy Bebop.

    Cowboy Bebop live-action series

There's a horrible track record for anime to liveaction adaptions, but I really hope they get this right.

    Cowboy Bebop live-action series

They copied the intro from the anime quite well, but I can't shake the impression that it looks a bit cheap. Like some sort of fan film with cosplayers. I hope I'm wrong.

    New Dune trailer

Same! My father was really into the books, and explained the lore to me while I played. Today I'm friends with the developers, who are amazing guys.

My mother's life was saved by seatbelts AND airbags.

    Need crazy girlfriend input

It would be funnier if the girlfriend is right, and has legitimate reasons to be angry at your character.

D&D General DMs: where's your metagaming line?

My players are free to presume the troll is weak to fire, just as they are free to find out that their presumption was wrong. :D

D&D General DMs: where's your metagaming line?

I have no line. I straight up tell my players the stats of the monsters if they want to know.

    New Dune trailer

I'll wait as long as I need to. Considering the hype and rave reviews, I would be shocked if this didn't get a follow up movie.

    New Dune trailer

I am of the same mind. Lynch's version has great art direction, great miniature effects, a stellar cast and a great score. It also nails the mood of Dune. But it fails as an adaption of Dune, and the choice to make the audience hear the thoughts of the main character does not work. Plus there...

    New Dune trailer

Just saw the movie. I went in with super high expectations and was still blown away. I love how convincing everything looks, and how the director takes his time to show that off. I did not see a single effect that didn't look real. He takes his time to tell the story and lingers on fantastic...

D&D General evil plan ideias - why would the villain require 100 souls?

The villain is actually targeting members of a specific family that are hiding a terrible secret.

    D&D and the rising pandemic

Yeah, I consider it an example of that. When people no longer have solid arguments, they often invoke Godwin's Law, and at that point all discussion is over really.

D&D General D20 Modern books available print on demand

I've never tried Dark Matter, but I'd love to get my hands on that book.

D&D General What is an Adversarial Player?

I've sadly had the misfortune of playing with those kinds of players. They got kicked out of the group quickly.

D&D Movie/TV D&D Movie: Action Packed, Funny as Hell

I'll be happy if this is at least a semi competent fantasy movie, but I would be delighted if it actually included the D&D game. It could be 99% straight up fantasy, and ending with a bunch of players around a table, and I would be satisfied.
