    [May] What are you reading?

Oh, and currently I'm reading LE Modesitt's Towers of Sunset and Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere, and liking both a ton. Though just like the other Modesitt I've read, it takes a little getting into. You sludge through the first forty or so pages and then suddenly you're three hundred pages in and...

    [May] What are you reading?

Oddly enough, Perelandra was my least favorite of the books. I still enjoyed it I just thought the other two were far superior as fiction. Though Perelandra is probably the strongest of the three (or second just behind That Hideous Strength) as far as the points he is trying to make.

    XBox 360 Elite

I tried to return mine to Best Buy the first time it broke, it was within a week and I still had the receipt and everything but they wouldn't take it back because their computers "had no record of the transaction".

    XBox 360 Elite

Yes but the 360 comes with a 1 year warranty from Microsoft for hardware problems. I've had mine shipped off and fixed twice without paying a penny.

New Trailer for Fantastic Four 2. Might not be awful?

Wow. Looks amazing. That "All that you know...is at an end" thing might be the most awesome bad guy quote from a movie I've ever heard.

    What is a good non-d20 sci-fi RPG?

Either d6 Space or Savage Worlds. SW would probably be your best bet as it is super fast and super fun. And I totally think it's more cinematic ruleset would fit BSG very well.

    Other Game Systems

I haven't had a chance yet to play Esoterrists either but I'm really looking forward to it. Great rule set and the Rolemonkeys Podcast where they played a one-shot of it really got me interested.

    Green Ronnin picks up AGoT!

It's a fun little indie press RPG designed to introduce kids and such to roleplaying. Though it can be fun for all ages. Players play pixies, brownies, and other faeries doing faerie type things.

Urban Fantasy Science Fiction Space Opera Pulp Adventure Modern Horror Steampunk Anything really.

What do you prefer? Long home campaigns or Adventure Paths with an end?

Short snappy games. Lasting 2-3 months tops that tell a fun story and end. Then move on to a different game. Because of this, I don't like many D20 games that start you at first level either. Savage Worlds or Spirit of the Century that starts you out already pretty competent fit this ideal a lot...

Good to see Hot Fuzz ranked so high while being on so few screens. It really was a blast.

    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder's Goblins

That's the most inspiring piece of fantasy artwork I've seen in a long time. Paizo has me excited about DnD again. Or at least playing Pathfinder in True20.

    Eberron novel line. Any standouts?

I saw it today and almost picked it up but our local Booksamillion is horribly run and checking out would have taken too long and made me late for plans. I'll pick it up soon though.
