I've been busier than planned and have only had a chance to skim it, but I loved it. Looks like a lot of fun, and I especially like the design comments section at the end. Real interesting insight. Plus it helps that SotC is one of my two fav games right now, the other being Savage Worlds.

I'm at work right now but I'll check it out once I get home.

Right now the league home page is saying 10 pm EDT, which is like apparently 1 am EST going by their countdown clock of over 6 hours. EDIT: And just after posting, I refreshed the league page and the coundtown clock switched from 6 hours to 3 hours.

Any more suggestions for stuff that is still coming out monthly? I saw some stuff at Dragon*Con about Dust and Otheworld, anyone read those?

I've been meaning to check out Mouse Guard mainly due to my childhood love of the Redwall novels. So Bone is good as well eh? I always see the giant trade of it at book stores and wonder if it is worth picking up.

What non-superhero comics are people reading. I'm looking for new titles to check out and I'm a bit worn out on the superhero genre. Looking for fantasy, sci-fi, horror, anything really.

And I've seen Dogs characters who went their entire careers without escalating to a physical fight. Especially one where their goal was to kill something and steal their stuff.

Like I said, they can be played with or without violence. And yes, so can DnD. Back on topic however, I also don't like the doll. And after a long day in lame training classes, not mentally agile enough right now to form a real opinion on how I feel about it being on the Paizo store.

Very good point. Depending on how their whole system works could change this issue around a good bit.

From a lot of the big poll threads lately, there is at least a sizeable chunk of the ENWorld population that doesn't play DnD, but plays other RPGs and sees this as a good community for general discussion.

Dogs in the Vineyard, Primetime Adventures, Mortal Coil. All are games that can be played without violence or with. And plenty of others can be played with combat without glorifying killing other sentient beings.

Some of us don't think it is okay. And that is why some of us play other RPGs than DnD. Don't make assumptions about your audience.

Well, Oblivion is out on both the 360 and the PS3 as well.
