    Bo9s multiclassing rules, balanced?

You may be able to fireball at 1st sword sage level, but fact remains you're still a 9th level character with 3rd level 'spells'. Given the nature of Tome of Battle abilities (ie. how most of them don't scale at all) its not too much of an issue.

    High AC, any flaws, suggestions?

Most of those buffs are only 1min/level (some are even 1 rd/level !). Unless your DM gives you forewarning of every encounter and lets you buff in advance, I wouldn't rely on having them up, unless you want to spend most of the battle buffing yourself. Bite of the wererat won't stack with cat's...

    Do racial bonuses stack?

Actually racial bonuses explicitly do stack. For example, a dwarf has both a +2 racial bonus to spells/spell like abilities, and a +2 racial bonus to poisons. If he has to make a saving throw against magical poisons, he gets +4. That isn't what bubba99 is really asking tho, he's asking "do I...

    Fire Genasi / Flame Blade

I think Wish is somewhat overkill for a 2nd level divine spell. He should use Limited Wish.

    Shifter feats

I had a vague idea that there was a shifter feat (or perhaps PrC ability) that granted some form of fast healing... perhaps 1 + half shifter feats or similar, but looking through all my eberron stuff I can't find any trace of it. Am I crazy? Anyone know if it exists and where its from? Thanks

How Many Spells Can You Cast In A Round?

It means that the duration is 1d4+1 rounds from the caster's perspective; however in reality, virtually no time has passed at all, so from the perspective of other people no rounds have elapsed. Its just a clarification on how the duration seems different depending on whether the spell effects...

How Many Spells Can You Cast In A Round?

From the various bolded segments, it is clear that the effect of the spell is to remove you from the normal stream of time for a duration of 1d4+1 rounds for you (and any spells you cast), or but a moment for anyone else who is not affected. If you disagree, then clearly a true strike cast on...

No spell resistance vs. Orb spells? Why?

People keep mentioning this, but bar the touch ac incorporeal isn't much of a hindrance if you don't want it to be ; transdimensional spell metamagic from Complete Arcane lets you avoid any incorporeal miss chance for a +1 adjustment.

No spell resistance vs. Orb spells? Why?

In that case, I mostly agree with you. Under normal circumstances orbs aren't horribly broken, altho I do feel that the SR: No is completely unnecessary and does somewhat trivialize a number of opponents. (And that they're in the wrong spell school)

No spell resistance vs. Orb spells? Why?

You also didn't take into account damage lost from the monsters making their saving throws (which will be alot of the time). So what your suggesting is that for a wizard specialized for area effects (and similar; auto hit, but SR and presumably saves will apply) the orb isn't really a...

No spell resistance vs. Orb spells? Why?

Eh? I count 3 things they're "bad" against (4, counting the aboleth mage which has horrible touch AC and may or may not get the benefit of its SLAs), the demons and devils. Now examine the SR and resistances of those demons and devils and explain to me how orbs aren't a good option compared to...

Two Weapon Fighting with Greatsword and Armor Spikes?

Thats a really horrible analogy, but I somewhat expected something like that. Its of course possible to claim that they are seperate rules. The combat chapter details how anything held in the offhand does half str bonus to damage, while page 8 describes how any offhand attack does half str...

Two Weapon Fighting with Greatsword and Armor Spikes?

Which somewhat suggests that offhand attack and attack with weapon in offhand should be treated somewhat synonomously, as the same rule is written with both wordings in seperate sections.

Two Weapon Fighting with Greatsword and Armor Spikes?

Well thats interesting then: if you go by what the PHB glossary says, and Hyp's earlier comments, then you can make an offhand attack with armour spikes at -4 as per an offhand attack, however the only references to half damage apply only to weapons wielded in your off hand. So looks like armour...

Two Weapon Fighting with Greatsword and Armor Spikes?

Well never mind the bit on using the armour spikes as primary and the two hander as an offhand actually; another reading of the armour spikes entry suggests that you can't use them at all if you use another offhand weapon, even as your primary attack.

Two Weapon Fighting with Greatsword and Armor Spikes?

Except there isn't really any "handedness" in d&d. If you attack someone with your longsword in your right hand, thats your primary attack. If you instead attack someone with your longsword in your left hand... well thats your primary attack too. An offhand attack is an extra attack made with a...

No spell resistance vs. Orb spells? Why?

Its pretty common in games I play in for the wizard to invest in precise/point blank shot. Besides orbs, there's plenty of other rays and ranged touch spells (eg. Ray of Enfeeblement, which is a great debuff for melee brutes) that make it worthwhile. Cover isn't so much an issue because you can...
