    Incense of Meditation

Playable? I don't see the big balance issue in allowing wizards to use it, to be honest. A wizard can't do anything with maximized fireballs and orb of xxx's that a druid can't do with flamestrikes and fire seeds, for example. Not to mention all the billions of cleric domain spells... Its a...

Unless they take that Arcane Preparation feat, of course ;)

    Incense of Meditation

I think the paragraph is perfectly clear, but perhaps more readable if you split it into 2 sections: "When preparing spells for the day, a wizard can leave some of these spell slots open. Later during that day, she can repeat the preparation process as often as she likes, time and circumstances...

    Healing Spells for Sor/Wiz

Hmm, might have been in PGtF, not 100% sure, but I know what you're referring to... and I'm pretty sure lesser version is type humanoid, not outsider.

Can a monk with natural weapons use them in a flurry?

Sorry, perhaps I should have said primary attacks. I was referring to attacks derived from your normal BAB progression. Where does it say you can't use TWF in a flurry ? "When using flurry of blows, a monk may attack only with unarmed strikes or with special monk weapons" That bit.

Can a monk with natural weapons use them in a flurry?

Flurry doesn't prohibit you from making off-hand attacks, it just prohibits you from using nonmonk weapons. You can quite happily make offhand attacks with monk weapons, however. What the 'flurry and then attack some more after my flurry ended' crowd is saying is that its your character makes...

Can a monk with natural weapons use them in a flurry?

In the same way it makes sense for the monk to be able to make offhand attacks with his shortsword after he's finished with his flurry ? Thats all secondary natural attacks are, really, a special form of offhand attack. Besides, I'm of the opinion you aren't 'finished' with the flurry until...

    Having trouble with Bigby...

It would appear the hand moves immediately, always keeping between you and the opponent, no matter what the opponent does. Example, forceful hand: "A very strong creature could not push the hand out of its way because the latter would instantly reposition itself between the creature and you...

Question on how acid affects a magical quarterstaff

For a CR11 critter, that's not really that bad. The magic item saves with it's own saves, or its wielders, whichever is higher... even a plate clad fighter will likely be at +6 - +7 at this level, even in the worst case. That saves 55-60% of the time. Rogues will save probably 90%+ of the time...

Can a monk with natural weapons use them in a flurry?

I maintain that when you choose to attack with a flurry of blows, you are infact, considered as 'flurrying' until your next turn. This includes attacks of opportunity, which is why you still get the -2 (if you're low enough level) on any AoOs you make.

    Mystic Theurge with Druids?

Splat books aside (my group only plays with core books, so I'm not too knowledgeable about all the spells druids get in them) its been my observation that druids are more of a versatile caster. They get both good offensive and good defensive (healing, buffing) spells, but often slightly delayed...

    Mystic Theurge with Druids?

Eh augmented summoning is good at the earlier levels, but at the later levels it doesn't make so much of a difference. Its better if you summon horde's of weaker creatures I guess, but I always opted to summon just the 1 stronger creature each cast... saves time in battles. Thats one thing that...

    Mystic Theurge with Druids?

It works but not very well. You give up all the good parts of the druid (companion, wild shaping) and are left with just the spellcasting.. which is very inferior to a cleric's.

What do you ready if you want to counterspell?

Just ready an action to ready an action, then you can choose what particular you want to ready when you are more informed of the situation ;)

    Spell Resistance and Caster Levels

Yes, scrolls, wands and potions have a set caster level for use with regards to spell effects (eg how many missiles your magic missile gets), spell resistance penetration rolls, dispel checks etc. Staffs also have a set caster level, with the caveat that you can substitute your own caster level...

    Wounding and Regeneration

Huh? 3-4 rounds of full attacks, the fights usually over from hp damage anyway ;p and its 1 per hit, not 1 per round.. its not really that overpowered, even on a 20HD creature you're looking at 10 damage/hit from con loss, as opposed to the 7 average from holy, or the 9 average from a bane (and...

    Wounding and Regeneration

Two bits of relevant text (well one, and a tangent), firstly from Damage Reduction: "Whenever damage reduction completely negates the damage from an attack, it also negates most special effects that accompany the attack, such as injury type poison, a monk’s stunning, and injury type disease...

    Rust monster versus Warforged

In my experience bards, rangers and rogues tend to wear chain shirts (mithral if they want no acp) which can be destroyed just fine. I'm also not sure that suggesting these characters will usually use archery or otherwise stay at range is at all accurate; however even assuming thats the case...

    Rust monster versus Warforged

Well honestly 2d6 isn't tooo bad for a base rust monster (they're only CR 3, after all), altho I still maintain it means a warforged has less to fear from a rust monster than a regular PC does. Its just when you advance them a bit that it starts to look almost harmless. Maybe make warforged the...

    Rust monster versus Warforged

I think the biggest problem is that from a common sense point of view, the mithral body and adamantine body should make a warforged more vulnerable to rust monster attacks. Also if the rust monster is advanced as is the case here, I'd want to increase the damage substantially too... If a 5HD...
