D&D General Tech in DnD; What should be included and how much is too much? (+)

What I would like as a 300page "Setting" Book would be a Tome that gives like 5 or 6 (or 7) technological stages, from Stone Age to Space Age with rules adjustments, items and so on. So for every Age you would get advice and rules adjustments, like different skills, different class abilities...

D&D General How would your perfect D&D magazine look like?

I liked dragon+, too but before it was canceled it devolved into an advertisement magazine, which was a pity. But the rest are great ideas, too. I'm partial on the D&D Beyond integration, because ... I don't like monopolies, but at the moment such a magazine probably would have the best...

Oh wow, thank you, for some reason I couldn't find that.

D&D General How would your perfect D&D magazine look like?

I was looking trough older dungeon Magazinen and was a little sad, that there is no real 5e Magazine (that I know off) today, that you can buy (Except the UK one which seems is only useful to get cheap dice and maybe for total beginners). So if you could wish a new 5e Magazine into existence...

D&D 5E (2014) Casters should go back to being interruptable like they used to be.

It also would make combat more complicated and longer. Every effect rhat interrupts or forces a resolute or changes the outcome after the fact will eat up a lot of table time. Counterspell, silvery barbs, luck and every other ability where you now the roll but not yet the outcome and can effect...

D&D 5E (2014) Casters should go back to being interruptable like they used to be.

A twilight cleric is not strong because of his spells, but because of some subclass features, that wouldn't be affected by the proposed change. I'm speaking from the experience of my games, where caster are often also hit. Not being in melee range of somebody in the current campaign is the...

D&D 5E (2014) Casters should go back to being interruptable like they used to be.

But thet needs to be accounted for in the game design itself. Fights would need to be made easier, because your remove a lot of power from the party with such a change. A hard encounter would become double deadly if the casters are nullified. Like in my campaign where I play a wizard. We have...

D&D 5E (2014) Casters should go back to being interruptable like they used to be.

The DM has all the power. If he wants to always play tonthe strength of the group and has one big monster that gets chain stunned ... For future reference, unless otherwise specified like "studies show" just imagine a "In my experience", "I think", "I find" in front of everyone's texts :). And...

D&D 5E (2014) Casters should go back to being interruptable like they used to be.

Because we are in a place where we can't get reinforcement right now. We are trapped in a city of death, where the ghosts there think it is like a 1000 years ago. No, in this city of death we were warned about things coming out of and coming for your shadows. So when something started to crawl...

D&D 5E (2014) Casters should go back to being interruptable like they used to be.

If I would have choosen to play my wizard defensively last Monday, where my group was ambushed by some mean undead, the group would have been TPKed. The main reason is of course party composition. No martial, our cleric himself was a ghost (killed the session before ...) and couldn't use turn...

D&D 5E (2014) Casters should go back to being interruptable like they used to be.

It is unfun game design and one of the reasons 5e abandoned or nerfed most of those things that deny a player turns. If the rare occasion happens that a PC gets stunned or something, they can usually repeat the saving throw next turn and the chance to get out of it is usually higher than 50%. I...

D&D 5E (2014) Casters should go back to being interruptable like they used to be.

My current game where I play a wizard (started at level 3, now level 7) had no real dungeons so far. And there was never a chance to block enemies from coming at you because the spaces were all wider or allowed for multiple ways.

D&D 5E (2014) Casters should go back to being interruptable like they used to be.

Ey, if you wanna give fighters more stuff than just hit stuff, I'm for it. Battlemaster maneuvers for all martials!

D&D 5E (2014) Casters should go back to being interruptable like they used to be.

Oh, my character is trying to train Orphans to ride and fight on Kaktuul (medium to large Velociraptors) to gain a fast cavalry in the upcoming civil war and build up a militia from the poorer districts. The other characters are a little worried that the Orphans may be eaten ...

D&D 5E (2014) Casters should go back to being interruptable like they used to be.

Because the DM usually has more than one monster he controlls so he has still stuff to do, while a player usually has his one turn. Also a DM can create stun immune monsters from scratch if it bothers him. Something players can't really do.

D&D 5E (2014) Casters should go back to being interruptable like they used to be.

Because it is a City Intrigue Campaign, where battles are usually close quarters, enemies can come from every direction and ambushes and surprise attacks are the rule and not the exception.

D&D 5E (2014) Casters should go back to being interruptable like they used to be.

Inmyy last battles in the campaign I'm playing it would have been. But even if it only every second turn, it would suck as a player. It is the equivalent of being able to always use hold person or counterspell on every PC caster.

D&D 5E (2014) Casters should go back to being interruptable like they used to be.

I'm just saying, when you nerf the casters you need to rebalanced everything. Because suddenly a hard encounter would become double deadly. Also it would be no fun if my Wizard was interrupted every turn and couldn't do any magic except cantrips. Denying players their turns is the worst thing...
