  1. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

Lionel follows Tommi. He knew that Titus were down here with Tommi earlier and now he was worried for his friend. If the guard was dead, what about Titus? Oh dear, oh dear, he muttered, this is not good!
  2. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

Lionel also wondered what just happened. He had never seen anything like this before. Suits of armour are not suppose to move by themselves, right? he asked nobody in particular.
  3. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

Lionel sets his sight again on the animated armour. The armour paused for a second and looked up at Lionel, its red glowing eye locked into Lionel's. At that moment, Lionel and let the bolt loose and it flew straight through the visor and hit the red glowing eye. Lionel quickly shot off another...
  4. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

Lionel was watching in horror how these suits of armour suddenly came to life. He watched them to understand how they were fighting... they walked clumsily but looked very sturdy. Their armour would protect them... but maybe if one aimed for the glowing eye one could inflict major damage. And...

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

The smoke made Lionel feel sick. The rotten smell was overwhelming but he managed not to succumb to it. He heard Escella run off to warn the others but he continued on despite the fear building up within him. Lionel approached the staircase and looked down to see what could have caused the...
  7. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

Lionel took a moment to sit down in the fireplace, too tired to move. That went well, he thought. I'm good, he called up to Angis. He then went back into the Manor house to wash off the worst of the sot and to catch up with the others.
  8. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

Snakes…why'd it have to be snakes? Chrysagon muttered and then he invoked Kelemvor's protection against poison. Invigorated by the protection, he also channel Kelemvor's energy into his flail. The energy flowed into the weapon and it started to shine, slowly at first and then brightly. Let's go...
  9. Prickly Pear

    (OOC) Fitz's Folly (ToA PBP)

How far away is the PCs from the fighting Yuan-Tis? Chrysagon needs to get close and personal too.
  10. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

Escella's words reached Lionel from what seemed to be far away. The fighting had been scary but he hadn't run away this time. He looked himself up and down and realised that the sight of him must have worried Escella, prompting her concerned question. A mix of sot and orc blood smeared all over...
  11. Prickly Pear

    (OOC) Fitz's Folly (ToA PBP)

I reckon that we should help the red wizards, not because they can be trusted but because the snakes are evil and even less trustworthy. I'm thinking that Chrysagon will channel divinity into his flail (gaining CHA modifier to his attacks for 1 min) and cast Protection from Poison (snakes are...
  12. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

Chrysagon looked at the pile of dead bodies in the central plaza. He said a quiet prayer over the fallen people, who had found death prematurely. Death is natural and will come when the time is right. Chrysagon went up to the scribe and waited for the others.
  13. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

Escella's blasts shot past Lionel and he took the opportunity to poke his head out so that he could see any enemies. The orc next to Vairar was the first he saw and he lifted the crossbow and fired. Satisfied that the bolt found its mark, Lionel ducked back to his spot on the fireplace.
  14. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

Lionel checked the condition of the fallen Sun Elf guard but there was nothing he could do to save her. The blood loss was too great and she was dead.
  15. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

Chrysagon performed his morning prayers and then readied himself to set off to the Red Wizards together with the Thayan Orc.
  16. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

The arrow only just missed Lionel but hit the elf guard instead. In horror, Lionel saw the guard slump to the floor with masses of blood coming from the wound. Oh no, Lionel thought frightened, next arrow could come for me! No arrow came but two orcs showed up where the oroc had fallen, chipping...
  17. Prickly Pear

    (OOC) Fitz's Folly (ToA PBP)

I was first wanting to go with option 1 but thinking about it, I think option 2 is better. That way we can be "alone" in the Tomb and not worry too much about a large number of NPCs (which would drive Fitz crazy :)). I vote option 2!
  18. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

Chrysagon followed the Thayan Orc with his eyes. I wonder what he will do when he discovers that the cubes has disappeared from the makeshift sack, he thought to himself. Probably best if he discovers it before we reach the Red Wizards... In the morning, Chrysagon answered the Captain that...
