Lionel walked up to the doorway and spotted the large gnoll coming down the staircase. He thought about how the gnoll moved down the stairs and thought he saw a good opening. He lifted the crossbow, aimed and let the bolt fly. Next, Lionel moved up and ducked down behind the upturned table.

Chrysagon continued the battle with the skeleton and this time he smashed it to smithereens. Chrysagon rushed to the next skeleton and, with a mighty swing, the skeleton crumbled in a heap. Next he is going for the cauldron in the corner.

The fresh breeze swirled around him for a moment and Lionel felt much better. Thank you, Vairar! he said and stood up. He walked over to the south window and carefully peered out, crossbow at a ready. Did something move out there? Could it be a gnoll?

Chrysagon feinted the attack from the skeleton in front of him and the struck out with the staff. The skeleton parried twice and Chrysagon missed twice. It was as if the skeleton had read his mind and stepped aside to avoid the attacks.

That beast came up quickly on Lionel and he got badly hurt by the savage attacks. Lunn's soothing words helped and Lionel could focus on the oversized gnoll. The drew his shortsword an stabbed at the gnoll before retreating inside the manor.

Since I joined partway through the adventure, I never really understood where we were going. I just had a look on the map and was surprised to see that we are within spitting distance of Waterdeep. We could just pop in for a drink, if we wanted to!

Chrysagon moves as in slow motion. He swipes the glass cauldron over and over but as soon as it smashes into smithereens, it comes together again. Chrysagon hits it again and again... it's like he is in a time loop and not able to move forward.
