Lionel is also surprised by Lunn's decision to entangle himself in the net. Still, the gnolls are vicious creatures and this one is no different. Those snapping jaws seem to be particularly nasty. Lionel takes aim and fires his crossbow at the entangled gnoll. The gnoll slumps with a gurgle...

Lionel followed the conversation between the two wizards but could not do much. The red wizard was quickly out of sight and they just kept talking. As the south door opened, Lionel watched the first gnoll burst through and looked at an opening. And there it was, he thought, but the bolt lodged...

With a sudden strange gait and another weird sound coming out of his throat as he tried to warn Ussal about the new skeletons, Chrysagon moved up to the skeleton clawing at Ussal. 11. Prickly Pear

    (OOC) Scourge of Daggerford (Full)

Since I joined partway through the adventure, I never really understood where we were going. I just had a look on the map and was surprised to see that we are within spitting distance of Waterdeep. We could just pop in for a drink, if we wanted to!

Lionel observed the approaching gnolls and thought he saw an opening. He took a shot at the closest approaching gnoll and then retreated back to the main doors. I don't want to be caught out here with all the gnolls charging in, he thought to himself. Come, Escella, he called out. Let's get back...
