  1. Prickly Pear

    (OOC) Fitz's Folly (ToA PBP)

I've done just that in the past... saying something about the character "waiting impatiently for the goblin to attack"!
  2. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

Lionel sighed and tried again. This time he was sure he would have hit the gnoll if it wasn't for the tree that provided cover. Well, at least nobody is shooting back at me, Lionel consoled himself. With that thought, he quickly looked over his shoulder, half expecting a giant gnoll standing...
  3. Prickly Pear

    (OOC) Fitz's Folly (ToA PBP)

Whom or what are we waiting for? 🙃
  4. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

Lionel had been so annoyed missing the gnoll earlier so he had spent the previous round improving his hiding spot and adjusting some twigs for better aim. Satisfied with his progress, he looked up at the battle but it looked as if it was almost over. Then he heard more yipping across the river...
  5. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

I forgot to roll stealth for hiding in bushes and Lionel is not very good at hiding today. I was hoping to get advantage on the next crossbow shot but alas. 😣 stealth check for hiding: 1D20+4 = [2]+4 = 6 Lionel thinks he found a good hiding spot and fires a well-aimed bolt at the monstrous...
  6. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

Chrysagon also urged Miss Imogen on. Check the dead-end for an opening. I think it's the back end of a secret door.
  7. Prickly Pear

    (OOC) Fitz's Folly (ToA PBP)

Well, this corner could be our way to escape. It's most likely the back of a secret door. I suggest that Imogen checks this out while Chrysagon and Dellrak keeps the tomb guards away from the rest.
  8. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

Lionel found a good spot to hide in the bushes and prepares for another shot.
  9. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

Chrysagon blocked the attacks from the monstrous creature and then struck it twice with his glowing flail.
  10. Prickly Pear

    (OOC) Fitz's Folly (ToA PBP)

How many of us have magical weapons? Chrysagon's flail is only magical when he uses Channel Divinity (once per short rest). Also, Chrysagon is out of spell slots... EDIT: Aura of Protection 10' from Chrysagon provides +4 to any Saving Throws.
  11. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

Two gnolls riding large hyenas were charging down on those in the river crossing. Lionel had no idea if they knew where Tommi was, but it was no time to wait to find out. The gnolls were far away but Lionel was feeling lucky. He took aim and let the bolt loose on the nearest gnoll. It was hard...
  12. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

Crysagon positioned himself so that others could get close to the font. He speaks softly and his flail lights up brightly and shimmers with magical powers. He is ready to attack when the creature comes up next.
  13. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

Lionel waited with the others to see if the other side was secure.
  14. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

Chrysagon jerked up and away from the images in the swirling font. That was very odd, Chrysagon said and relaid what he had seen. It was like watching through someone else's eye... but that one felt that I was there...
  15. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

What's this? Chrysagon said, forgetting his anger. The font glowed inviting and he looked into it, mesmerised by the swirls.
  16. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

Chrysagon banged his fist at the door in frustration. He had also told his story, fully aware that this creature was undead. He had wanted to see where this was going and whether they would learn anything useful but a lot of cryptic clues did not seem very valuable at all. He should have slapped...
  17. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Scourge of Daggerford

Lionel was happy to be moving again, albeit towards more gnolls. The previous night he had nightmares about a giant gnoll chasing him round and around the ruins of the campsite. Wherever Lionel had turned the knoll was there to intercept him with big sharp teeth in a drooling, gaping maw. All...
  18. Prickly Pear

    (OOC) Scourge of Daggerford (Full)

I’m away at the moment with limited internet access. I will post when I can, otherwise FitzTheRuke can post for me so that you don’t need to wait. I’m fine with that :)

  20. Prickly Pear

    D&D 5E (2014) (IC) Fitz's Folly

C'mon! We need to open the door, shouted Chrysagon. Any lock picks around? Otherwise, I will start bashing it, he said and lifted his flail.
