It would be okay for Monster Manual, but for PH?

With PH it's possible to create pirate ninjas: pirate background + path of shadows monk.

In case of heavy armor the lack of dexterity modifier means that most of your protection comes from the armor's ability to deflect and absorb blows and not from agility. The armor will protect you enough that your feeble dexterity won't count, but due to it's bulk your bonuses won't count...

I prefer DCC RPG's simplicity, but the Monster Manual isn't bad either. It's pretty clear and straightforward, although I would've been happier with smaller stat blocks and less wordy abilities.

Probably a hazard in DMG. Awakened shrub, awakened tree, vine blights, shrieker, violet fungus, shamblig mound are on the list too. Thankfully there is one in the Wizard's Amulet module.
