    Neglected Underdark races

Rom? As in, gypsies? I don't get this one.

Looking for Valterra´s Answer (Foreign Submission *Arrival* pos *july 3rd*)

Somewhere along the line, Anthony mentioned that it would be a good idea to include your email address on the cover letter, so they could notify people by email. I think that's mentioned in the FAQ thread. Edit: Yep, FAQ thread:

Which dwarf book are you going to get?

If I get one, it'll probably be whichever has the best review.

    [Extremely OT] Kukris

There's a gurkha tradition, Ive read, that if you draw your kukri, you mustn't sheathe it without drawing blood. If you take a gander up there at Krug's very nice picture, you'll see a funny weird notch near the handle -- supposedly that's so you can cut yourself (on the finger, I believe)...

    Crown Royal dice bags

I had a little tacklebox once, about the size of a hardcover novel. I used it to hold minatures and it would fit a small number of dice as well. It was pretty small, so when I had too many miniatures, it lost the Great Storage Battle.

Which Class do you hate/dislike ?

I imagine that there would be monks aplenty in Kara-Tur, on the eastern side of the continent of Faerun -- Kara-Tur was the default OA setting in 2e (such as it was). Also, in Damara north of the Moonsea, you have the Monastery of the Yellow Rose, dedicated to St. Sollars (an Ilmatarian sect)...

    Crown Royal dice bags

Upper_Krust said: It comes in pints. ;) Seriously, I have about 70 Crown Royal bags, and I've never touched a drop of the stuff. Someone gave me a great heaping pile of the things.

Which Class do you hate/dislike ?

You should be able to find good Bard stuff in the Mabinogion, the Tain bo Cuailgne (only a tiny bit, but still), and the tales of Finn mac Cumaill (Finn McCool). Especially the salmon of wisdom story. Bards were performers, but their main role was as lorekeepers and teachers -- it's easier in...

Which Class do you hate/dislike ?

I don't like bards. I don't personally like barbarians, either, but that just means I wouldn't play one, not that I think the class has anything wrong with it. However, Rashak my man: Why did you combine wizards and sorcerers? I strongly dislike sorcerers, but I like wizards just fine.

Epic Level Hndbk: I got the playtest doc. Now what?

Well, every other time this has happened, the thread's been closed. As I recall, the first time it happened, Morrus or some moderators or both asked the original poster not to answer spoiler questions. ENWorld doesn't want to encourage/support people breaking their Non-Disclosures, I think...

What happens if a paladin gives up his Paldinhood?

Yeah, it'd definitely depend a lot on circumstances, of course. Sir Larry: I'm very sorry, Osiris, but it's just too much for me to go on. I must resign from service as your anointed knight. Osiris: Dang. Is very different from: Sir Moe: I'm very sorry, Osiris, but it's just too much for...

What happens if a paladin gives up his Paldinhood?

If I had a PC who did that, basically resigned from paladinate but remained lawful good and remained a devout worshipper of his patron, I'd have him retain some abilities and lose the rest. I'd leave him with Divine Favor (or whatever the save bonus ability is called), and immunity to disease...

Ok Australia. This makes up for the Crocodile Hunter.

I can't believe you guys don't like the Crocodile Hunter. Sure, he talks with a really corny accent (to most American ears) that seems like he -must- be exaggerating, but just think about it... Weird man with tons of obscure knowledge about plants and animals runs around outdoors, harassing...

    [OT]Fighting Fantasy relaunched!

I just played through my copies of these oh, about six months ago. It's way easier to remember the spells when you're 28, as opposed to 15 (or however old I was), let me tell you that right now sir! :D

Book of Vile Darkness: Where D&D hasn't gone before?

In my experience, not all that many people play D&D in any sort of setting which could actually be called a "pre-modern culture". I know, there are people out there who do, and who frequent these boards (And the Kalamar setting addresses slavery).. but with D&D's emphasis on playing good PCs...

Book of Vile Darkness: Where D&D hasn't gone before?

Heh. Well, you probably won't see the Houri or Dark Pimp, I suppose, as Monte's stated that there's nothing about prostitution in the book. Just demons and sacrifices and evil and icky-badness. I know, bit of a letdown ;)

How do I encourage roleplaying without being a jerk?

I gotta agree with Berandor as well. I have trouble getting some of my players to pay attention when I'm directly addressing them. One guy's wife keeps insisting that she wants to play, but the only thing she does when she -does- play (which she only does when we game at their place) is roll...

Enough With The Orc And Pie!

Hey King, yer all tense-like. What you need is some good home-cooked pie. Lets go ask Joey MacOrc if he'll share. Heh, yeah, it can get old. Everything can get old. It's not like the General forum is flooded with [Orc-Pie] tagged posts or anything...

    Horses

Lippizaner stallions are heavily trained and can do all manner of things. Of course, they are primarily trick/show horses, but it's a good example of what a heavily bred and trained horse -can- do. I don't know much about horses, of course, but you could probably find info on the Lippizaners...

    Acceptance of Fate

In early March, I received a copy of Acceptance of Fate from the publisher for review purposes. I'm apparently a lazy sot, since it took me this long to read and review it. However, I've read it twice now, and here's the review: Firstly, this is an adventure module, and though the ENWorld d20...
