Has anyone ever gotten to actually play Pun-Pun? My guess is no, and therefore the Pun-Pun brokenness is never going be a real in-game problem. But cool as a thought experiment and kickstarting flamewars.

Suggestions of One disc compilations is probably okay. I was looking asking for movies so i could see what the fuss was about, wo ruining my budget or it becoming a complicated task of finding and buying 100 episodes of a series i might not even like:) But one-disc (possibly even two?) deals...

Actually, i think that Cyclops of the movies is a pretty good rendition of the character from the early comics (including and especially the dark phoenix saga). An annoying boy scout with emotional and selfconfidence issues. I'm not sure he was such a good teamleader in those early issues...

hmmm. i think i'll browse through the revised book before any decision of a purchase. But it seems (though a few have disagreed) that it may be too scripted/railroaded for my taste. But stil fixable, and as it is a cool setting, i'm rather undecided as to what to do.. dangit:)

I'm not sure i like the idea of multiple characters per player in a DnD campaign. I usually find it difficult enough to do the number crunching aspects of combat for one characer:) And also, even though i enjoy the tactics and dice rolling of combats, it's the "rest" of the rpg i really enjoy...

I find that psionics just feels more scifi than fantasy. And as much as i like the mechanics of the XPH, i really dislike the whole ectoplasmic pseudoscience flavour of it. In a fantasy setting that is. possibly i'd accept it in a scifi setting, or a nonstandard fantasy setting such as Darksun...
