    Necromancy Isn't Evil

Saeviomagy, I might agree that the cost is a little bit high compared to the cost of learning a spell from another wizard, I could nerf it down a tad. But not compared to the two spells mentioned, as neither of them are even close to allowing you to gain information about a spell. They might...

For those with some time on their hands...

Hey mate, just wanted to throw in my share of opinions. "Damage reduction is 3.0 version." I always considered the 3.5 DR to be one of the best aspects of the new edition, it makes alot more sense than the old. It seems silly that you are fighting a monster with 50/+12, and because you have a...

    Necromancy Isn't Evil

I don't mind this thread being hijacked when discussing the issue of which spells define as being evil, its a little bit what I am trying to find out. I think when you animate something with Negative Energy, it is evil, but if you simply animate something so that it can sustain its own existence...

A better aid when your are realy good

Which.. is kind of slightly exactly like the Optional rules in Epic Level Handbook regarding Cooperation (page 38). The difference is that they say that ever 10 points by which you succeed the check gives an additional +1 bonus to the person you are aiding. Even though having it only be every 5...

    Necromancy Isn't Evil

Okay, I just updated Spirit Lore significantly and added a descripton for Flesh Puppet. I am still unsure if Flesh Puppet should be Evil, since it merely keeps the life pulsating in something that only recently died. The following things are what I am working on at the moment in regards to...

    Necromancy Isn't Evil

I also began working on spells that duplicate the life giving powers, starting with the simple Tyre's Fleshpuppet that I just posted. Tyre’s Fleshpuppet Necromancy Level: Sor/Wiz 1 Components: V, S, M Casting Time: 10 minutes Range: Touch Effect: Creates a living flesh-creature from dead...

    Necromancy Isn't Evil

Thanks Fieari and VirgilCaine I have been playtesting the Spirit Lore spell slightly since it was last posted, and one thing that one of my players remarked could be cool was if especially unique spells might require the caster to locate a very specific grave. And Evil spellcasters might demand...

    Necromancy Isn't Evil

Thanks for the comments. I don't know about the level of the spells, Preservation could hardly be any lower (could be a Cantrip perhaps, might be appropriate). For Secrets of the Grave I used..hmmm... what spell was it I used for comparison, Stone Tell or something. How about calling Knowledge...

    Necromancy Isn't Evil

I am working on exploring a bit more about the "non-evil" aspects of Necromancy. Necromancy, in my opinion, isn't only about animating undead servants and ability draining peasants for the heck of it, Necromancy is also about the spirits of the dead and about the secrets they hold. Necromancy is...

What have you done to my Underdark Fey thread?

Thanks Krishnath, feel free to give me some more comments, especially on the Necromancy Spells actually. The Evocation spells have already been sent for Enworld Publishing, so I have no chance to alter them anymore. The Necromancy Spells are still being written, so I can alter them as I see fit...

What have you done to my Underdark Fey thread?

Nice critter, good to see a Fey in here for a change, happens rather rarely these days. Isn't it non-standard that the monster stat block variant has ability scores that vary from those of the average Reptilian Elf? I thought that the monster stat block should be for a completely average version...

What have you done to my Underdark Fey thread?

Thanks Knightfall, anything you liked in particular? Its chapter 7 of a book I have been working on for Enworld Publishing. Not sure if it is going to be comming out through Enworld Publishing or another company though. Might be through Bastion Press.

What have you done to my Underdark Fey thread?

Hmmmm, very good point about the Squirrels Boz, very good point indeed. Did you see the spells Boz? You should take a look, many hours of hard work into those ;) Krishnath, it was actually a rather nice forum, more freedom of speech :)

Knightfall's World of Kulan Campaign Maps (Updated: July 2022)

Is Kulan a sort of online Campaign Setting, seems that more than just Knightfall knows about it O_o Didn't know Enworld had its own CS.

4000 posts, congratulations Krishnath. You're in the big boys league now :D Damm spammer :D Checked out Nutkinland actually, was a fun site, very interesting discussions (saw you in there as well). Was bored one day and remembered that you had mentioned it.

What have you done to my Underdark Fey thread?

Knightfall, you should take a look at Clay's Grand Collection of Spells :D Krishnath, gotten any further in your reading? I have loads and loads of work as it is already. Mortis Arcanum that is being printed by Bastion Press has roughly 70 pages of my material in it. I am working on material...
