    Forgotten Rums....? Evil Overlords...?

I'm just wondering how well Manual of the Planes sold (... I'm guessing it sold well). Because if the WotC bean-counters consider that book to be "crunchy," they really have their heads up their donut cores. I have yet to use the actual "crunchy" rules of that book. It was all fluff. Maybe...

What is your LEAST favorite setting?

I gotta say it... Ya know I checked Forgotten Realms as a kind of knee-jerk vote... but I think on reflection I would probably be less excited to play in a Dark Sun campaign than any of the others. I thought the basic premise of the setting was good enough, but a lot of the ideas were were...

What is your LEAST favorite setting?

Well yeah, that's a given, but I just thought that in the long run it would be interesting to compare these data with that of the other poll. I'm willing to venture that 'we' like the same settings 'we' hate.

What is your LEAST favorite setting?

Ok, we have the poll on your favorite setting, but now I want to know which one you dislike the most, and why. Please don't vote 'other' unless you strongly feel you must.

can we rethink the VIIIth amendment to the constitution?

I'm telling ya. Nothing short of a bottomless pit, in this case for the ashes of the corpse itself, would truly obliterate the damned beyond the powers of even a true ressurrection.

    Prime Material Women Are Easy!

Could very well be. If you really do own the <gulp> DVD... <shudder>, then I guess you would be the <twitch> expert on the matter...

can we rethink the VIIIth amendment to the constitution?

Well, if you play Scarred Lands (or even if you don't) the R&R book has a spell called bottomless pit which would allow someone to slowly decay as they fell into eternity. Give them a ring of sustenance, and they wouldn't even die until they were forgotten about (and most of their cohorts were...

Has anyone (else) seen or bought Traps & Treachery 2 yet?

Well, one of the reasons I am interested in this poll is because the guy at the store I bought T&T2 at said that T&T(1) was among the hardest d20 supplements to buy, of all time. So I was curious how many people even had that one.

[rant] Stupid players who act without thinking

I agree. I don't even see the big problem of a paladin with a frostbrand sword. Even if it was a problem, the DM gave it to him, somehow. Granted, the player was probably an immature jerk. But it could be that the DM was an immature jerk as well. That does happen too, you know. ;)

can we rethink the VIIIth amendment to the constitution?

LOL! I guess it's a valid point, certainly in the context of this discussion. Just struck me as funny.

Has anyone (else) seen or bought Traps & Treachery 2 yet?

Ahh, to be an "almost-graduate" again. It's only been a year, but hey, I still marvel at the difference. No offense of course, Meepo. :D

can we rethink the VIIIth amendment to the constitution?

Well, if abortion ever becomes illegal (and punishable by death), we would have some mighty disgusting executions.

So you want to know how its going...

And don't forget the fourth pile, "For all that is good and holy, burn this immediately!"

Has anyone (else) seen or bought Traps & Treachery 2 yet?

I was just curious as to whether anyone has seen it, bought it, or even heard of it.

    Prime Material Women Are Easy!

Yeah, you could have Jeff Goldblum playing the polymorphed dragon and/or evil outsider who sticks his tongue to the bottom of the glass to retrieve an ice-cube! That should make those prime-material women give it up.:D

What is it about Drizzt that you just can't stand?

Good Point... Well said... But wouldn't he be more like Nightcrawler from the X-men?

    Favorite Setting of All Time?

KOK = FR - munchkins? From what I could see in the KOK book (didn't buy it, just looked through it in the store), it didn't look anything like FR. It looked instead like a really generic setting the likes of which I could probably come up with on my own, if I wanted. Nothing too original...

Quick alignment question. Is intent the same as action?

I would have to agree that intent is the same as action as far as alignment is concerned. If you plan to murder someone (and seriously try to pull it off), it's just as bad as doing it. I changed a PC's alignment once because he kept eyeing the dire wolf pups that another character had...

Anyone seen the book of challenges...

Well, for the record, I looked closely at Traps & Treachery II last night, and it too has a decent number of real puzzles in it. A whole, if minor, chapter in fact. It also contains a chapter on poisons, which I found intriguing. However, I'm sure I'll eventually buy the Book of Challenges as...

Anyone seen the book of challenges...

a superior alternative, IMHO... I saw it at my hobby shop in Minneapolis yesterday, flippedthrough it, and promtly bought the LAST REMAINING COPY of... Traps and Treachery II... Yes, now I have them both. All I can say is, the second one has NOTHING but traps! It truly rocques!
