    Figments of my Imagination

I'd say yeah. At the point someone has had a reason to save, made the save, and communicated the fact that whatever they are looking at is not really there, at that point his allies should get the typical save at +4.

    Figments of my Imagination

Distractions I got. Out of combat I have lots of options. But once the init die is rolled all those options seem to disappear. Any smart uses of illusions that you can use in a combat scenario? Battlefield control looks like a good one, visibility hindrances are another, any other ideas...

    Figments of my Imagination

Definately. :) Fog, Blackness, and other visual impediments are great, especially if your party passes the save and they are willing to engage at range with weapons and spells and such. ... bump.

    Figments of my Imagination

The Silent Image, Minor Image, Major Image, Programmed Image, Permanent Image spell tree is very difficult to use properly in 3.5 and 3.0 D&D. The section on illusion magic in the magic chapter is very specific in what they can and cannot do any longer. Other illusion spells have numerous...

    Remnants of the Horde:Mount Zuregath

Bargo belches happily, licking the last tasty giblets of quivering flesh from his cracked, fire burned lips. The smile quickly fades as he is forced to look up at his damned father, standing in mid air, lording it over everyone. If only that magic would give out right now. Durgo would look...

    X-Men Legends

A secondary mutation is a second power they give to someone to make them interesting. For instance, Emma Frost, the one time White Queen of the Hellfire Club who never bothered to get a code name seperate from this, has telepathic abilities but no telekinesis to let her play with Betsy and...

    X-Men Legends

Plenty of people like him, that's why, good or no, they are going to have to put him in the sequel. And even with as weak as he turned out, they were still considering putting him in until the end. It's just a matter of, as he was written, he didn't have any powers. He could just fly. His...

    Remnants of the Horde:Mount Zuregath

Bargo stops stalking the hag-burger and mutters about how its always "Bargo do this, Bargo do that" but no food for Bargo as he starts climbing his way over to the platform the big stupid head wants Bargo to go to.

    X-Men Legends

Angel was slated. Largely because as one of the original members, Raven felt he deserved to be there. But with so many other people that had tremendous powers AND could fly, Angel in play testing turned out to be very unattractive, and so was replaced with Jubilee. There were quite a few...

    X-Men Legends

Tons of fun. Put about 70 hours on it so far. 20+ with 3 other players. Definately much more fun with 4 players.

Scions of the New World:Scene One-Gertle's Gulch...

The Mantis tries to get some kind of sense of what Whistler would have him do, looking at him and inclining his head to the pair slipping out the back, but across the room from the old marshall and over the din of the clapping, wrestling, and dancing, he can barely see the tall scion. Gabe...

    Remnants of the Horde:Mount Zuregath

Bargo shifts his weight on the big toy, bored with the hobbling meat poppet's fiddling. As he watches Forlash work, in his mind's eye he begins to look more and more like a snack.

    Most humorous superhero movie moments/things?

X-Men. Wolverine sets off the metal detector, takes out a little aggression on it, then when Cyke gives him a look for making so much noise, he gives Cyke one claw extended. :) Spidey socking Gobbie so hard he flies back, webbing him while he is flying back, then yanking him back in for...

The Stepchildren of Fate (Updated 6/3)

Too much work. I've got day by day notes in game time to pick it back up at some point, but too much work to prep for the game, go to work, and write those huge updates. As for how they did, Titus, Elayne, and half the party got killed by Dorina, Zedarr, and Ripper who had barricaded...

    Resident Evil: Apocalypse

I enjoyed the film quite a bit, though find it interesting that . I don't see how or why that would occur, but it I guess gives slight hope for a sequel. In any case, I had a great time watching the movie, and liked a lot of the touches. I thought some of the fight scenes were a little...

The Mantis watches intently, avoiding the distractions of the brawls and drinking, one of his hands slowly loosing ties of his poncho so that it flies free when he draws and throws.
