Remnants of the Horde: In through the Back Way...

Bargo scratches his head, trying to figure out if Durgo means 'fix' fix or actually fix. Fix it the muragar way? Of course it takes Bargo long enough to figure out the heat and water thing. Processing this amount of thought takes long enough for the boils of his numerous burns to burst and run.

    Rate Spider-Man 2 [No Spoilers]

I thought the movie was very very well done. I didn't come out of the theater very happy though. Not 'wow' or excited or anything. I recognize that it was a well done movie. I recognize that May's speech and the ghost car talk weren't any more over the top than things I've read in Spiderman...

Remnants of the Horde: In through the Back Way...

Bargo stomps forward to break the huge machine that throws doors at Bargo.

Remnants of the Horde: In through the Back Way...

Bargo lumbers along, peeling off scorched flesh as he goes. OOC: I suppose that's one way to get clean.

    Early Spider-Man 2 reviews *SPOILERS*

And to some extent, all the scenes I can remember of Spidey doing something truly titanic were after someone had worked his anxt to the boiling point. In the first movie when gobbie is trashing Spidey at the very end and Peter is on the ground looking up at gobbie when his taunts cross the...

    CW: Dervish PrC..How is it?

DL: Very true. But since he tries to avoid rage it seemed appropriate. :) And the official build had it, and I needed the skill points. :) The movement doesn't hurt either.

Just when I thought there might have been hope for the second D&D movie...

You can see her act in the Simple Life. What? You didn't think Nicole and Paris really felt the need to shower in bikini's together in front of the camera crew... Reality TV. Feh. Or you can catch her on the OC playing a rich party girl. Or on Las Vegas as a gold digger. Or on George...

Invisible Blade from CW -- almost TPK'd my group.

Probably true. I just have this picture in my head of a party being eaten by a remorhaz. Big dangerous brute. Unless you avoid going toe-to-toes with it. :)

Invisible Blade from CW -- almost TPK'd my group.

A more tactical group would have put the rogue and the psychic warrior on the cleric/sorceror and sneak attack/power attacked him into oblivion while the cleric or evoker hit cast a fear spell of some sort on the fighter heavy and apparently multiclass heavy opposition who all look to have bad...

    Treated as Not Grappled

Well the dragon has snatch, which effectively gives it improved grab. And it's a great wyrm red, so it's grapple checks are in the 60's even after the -20 and it's currently snatched the paladin in one hand and the cleric in the other and is proceeding to ignore the ignoble attacks of the rest...

Invisible Blade from CW -- almost TPK'd my group.

A fighter/rogue/invisible blade has what for a will save normally? Don't throw reflex saves at him. Use hold person or dominate person or even just a fear spell.

    Treated as Not Grappled

I know you can take a -20 to your checks to be treated as not grappled. But I thought I read something about how you can do that to two foes, in the case of say, a dragon, one in each claw and still be treated as not grappled for -40. Anyone else remember reading something like that? Or know...

    Rapier of Puncturing

What's really bad is the rogue dual wielding them and using up all their uses in one full attack.

Invisible Blade from CW -- almost TPK'd my group.

Ack, I missed that he had already listed BAB. I thought he was leaving that out of the equation. Also, another thing, if your vital organs are getting punctured, it might be wise to cast or drink a potion of blur.

Invisible Blade from CW -- almost TPK'd my group.

There are going to be creatures that taking a full attack from is unwise. Stay 31' away. Now he only does 1d4 per hit. Use a hold person spell. The invisible blade is a powerful sneak attacker that probably requires spells or ranged attacks to defeat, but then so is an greater invisibility...
