Demo CD for Publishers at Gen Con

I have a demo CD of examples of game related internet software that I would like to give to any publisher who is interested in offering web programs either for enjoyment on their site or for download by their visitors. I will be at Gen Con as a visitor (no booth this year) and will bring the...

Intelligent Items Added to the RPG Toolbox

The Intelligent Items Generator from the iSRD has been added as a standalone generator to the RPG Toolbox. The generator will calculate the item's ability scores (Int, Wis, Cha), calculate the modifiers for each of these scores, generate an alignment, a method of communication, an...

    Pocket Players Handbook

I enjoy a pleasant lay-out, but too many books have too many wasted pages and artwork that only serves to increase the price of the product. I picked up an RPG that I was considering buying at Origins---it contained page after page of artwork without much actual content. The book was huge...

    Idea for easing bookkeeping

I'm a big fan of using note cards for spells, items, etc. It seems like they would work great for 'status' as well.

[3.5] My Core books from Wal-Mart came today!!!

Well, if you're answering questions: I've had the Buffy RPG on order from my local game store (I know I can get it from amazon) for 5 weeks now. Any chance they will ever get it? :)

    Town Map Maker

Hmmm, what features would you want such a program to have? I'm always up for a challenge. Also, I just followed your link and noticed that you too had a bravenet counter---I got rid of mine when they changed them and switched to SiteMeter.com---so far (oh, about 2-3 days), I'm very happy with it.

    Town Map Maker

It's official---thousands of people have The Town Map Maker (a simple point-and-click utility) my most popular RPG tool. The World Builder is running a close second. I hope it's ok to pat myself on the back. :)

Gotta get this off my chest...

I know others have said that they never used the tables because their players never caught them off guard, but I know I get caught off guard and like to use generators. I don't know if that means I have less prep time or if it means I'm not as good of a GM, but I appreciate any and all tables...

Zines are a good place to start.

It's a very intriguing idea. I have several small projects that might make better 'zines than supplements.

    I like D&D

Haven't had time to play much lately but hopefully I'll be inspired by 3.5 to set aside more time!

Gotta get this off my chest...

How deeply ingrained is the use of minis into the rules? I don't use minis at all when I play Dungeons and Dragons.
