If you had to cut two core races from your game....

I voted Gnomes and Half-Elves as well. Considered half-orcs, but I can see them as a product of rape, whereas elves should (in my view) be too aloof from humans to have them as mates.

What 3rd Party D&D Companies Are Left?

We have no plans to drop d20 products at the present time. As I mentioned on the Necromancer forusm, we did intentionally pull back on our RPG release schedule as we saw the market soften over the last year or so. That's probably the main contributor to the perception we're struggling...

    Best of Necromancer?

Oh we kick, when we know specifics (customer, store, distributor, that sort of thing). I've done it a couple times in Feb. Unfortunately, unless someone approaches us directly about a specific incident, we never hear about it. I absolutely agree. The current fix for us manufacturers to get...

Necromancer Games shutting down next year.(UPDATE post 93)

I think what Clark meant is that the Kenzer and Company brand just didn't produce the results we all hoped for, not that he thinks we failed to get books or information to the distributors as we should have. The layout, printing and warehousing services that we provide for the Necromancer books...

    Best of Necromancer?

Of course not - we're not a distributor. :) We're a manufacturer. We write/edit/design/etc., send to printer, store in our warehouse, and ship to the distributors that order our books. (And yes, we send product release and/or promotional information to the distributors every month.)...

    Mixing Races....and why DM's shouldn't allow it

Agreed. Here's some text and a formula I wrote for Dangerous Denizens, for some new half-human races (and the tel-amhothlan (half-elf/half-orc): "Some sages say that only humans may effectively crossbreed with some other nonhuman races. Whether this is due to the natural physiology of humans...

    RPG Settings

In the D&D: Kingdoms of Kalamar campaign setting sourcebook (and other books), the DM-only material is stated as rumor or hearsay, not fact. Or, on occasion, there's a section in the back of the book labeled something like "DM ONLY." We've also sworn that while new products may expand upon...

[KenzerCo] Kalamar Player's Guide (and HM products) now available as PODs!

I didn't set it up directly myself, but I learned it's a little troublesome simply because it's not set up for professionals to use. It doesn't allow CMYK color, bleed areas, etc. Just WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get). If you're used to professional publishing, you have to take some...

    D&D 4E Will 4E be announced at D&D Experience?

I find this most interesting, since we saw apocalyptic adventure just before 3.0. My guess has always been for a 2008 release, so I'm sticking with that.
