    15 Minute Workday Myth?

When someone first mentioned the 15-minute day I started examining previous adventures and campaigns and realized that they did happen from time to time, especially with "edgy" adventures (where party level = the EL of many of the encounters... no fodder fights, just edge of your seat fights)...

    Design & Development: The Warlock

It seems to me that if WotC went through all the trouble of making the Paladin easily playable by other alignments ("Will 4E have paladins that aren't lawful good?" The answer is yes. Hell, you can have evil paladins of Asmodeus in 4E.")... then why not do the same for Warlocks? I mean the PHB...

D&D 4E What don't you like about 4E so far? (Not a rant)

My main dislike so far is that the three main books (PHBI, MMI, and DMGI) all seem to be purposefully incomplete so that we have to pick up the latter "core" books. I really like the power source/role idea for classes, but it sounds like they are only going to have 8 classes in the PHBI...

    AD&D 2E Which 2e campaign setting should make a comeback in 4e?

Birthright for me... I'd love to see realm rules for 4e... not to mention that Birthright had an awesome hook with the bloodlines and some of the best adversaries of any setting I can remember.

    2007 ENnies Nominees - announced!

I think I remember the game you're talking about (and I think Sorcha, the Fire Maiden, might have been the character you played)... and from my own experiences running this adventure with the right group makes all the difference... and if you liked the puzzles before... now they are even more...

    2007 ENnies Nominees - announced!

Thanks a bunch... which character were you? I've done a lot of polishing on the adventure I ran at Gen Con last year... and it is now a full-fledged adventure. It is in final editing and layout and I really am looking forward to unleashing it on the waking world ;) As for the Nevermore...

I'd like to echo this sentiment and thank you all for your nomination of Nevermore... its been a long tough road for the Nevermore campaign setting and really helps remind me that its the road less traveled that's the most rewarding ;)

    True20 Nevermore: Designer Discussion Thread

Well I'm back from Gen Con and had a blast running Nevermore's introductory adventure "Big Trouble in Little Oakdale"... I had a pretty good response to how the adventure ran and look forward to polishing it up for future enjoyment by the True20 community. Anyway I have heard from Joe and Suzi...

    True20 Nevermore: Designer Discussion Thread

Well its that time of year again... when gamers and game designers flock to the legendary land of Gen Con to partake in the "best four days of gaming!" This year has truly been a "Gen Con or bust" year... with my plans changing almost daily and in the end resulting in more plane flights and car...

True 20 - Is it really Simpler?

Hello, I'm the designer/writer of the Nevermore campaign setting in the True20: Worlds of Adventure book by Green Ronin and must say that True20 is definately simplier to use from a design stand point. Making NPCs/Monsters and other bits that come up often as a Narrator is much more streamlined...

    True20 question

I think that is one of the reasons for the inclusion of Conviction points... once per round (if you have conviction points) you can reroll and get a minimum of 10 as the result. This helps decrease the system's lethality... though if a character has a really bad run of luck and needs to make a...

I'm glad that dreamscapes has found a home at your table... it's always good to know that your rules are being used to good effect ;) It is really a great improvement over the system in Dreamscapes... and it presents a unique world of adventure that I hope will find a home on many more tables...

    True20 Nevermore: Designer Discussion Thread

The Nevermore material in Worlds of Adventure is about 50/50, Liber Artefactorum is 67/33 on the mechanics side (since it includes the supernatural item creation system), while the domain books are about 67/33 on the fluff side of things (only including mechanics that really help highlight the...
