    Villains and Vigilantes comes back

It hasn't been pretty up to this point, and it's driven away some long time players, and guys who were thinking about coming back to the game. That's the unfortunate side effect of all this bickering.

    Villains and Vigilantes comes back

Oh, and just to be clear, Scott Bizar hasn't been engaged in any of this back and forth, he's been pretty quiet through out it all, and most of the arguing for the MHG side of the house has also been by the fans/supporters. Jack's pretty much kept mum, and other than Jeff making some comments...

    Villains and Vigilantes comes back

That pretty much sums up Jeff and Jack's argument, while Scott is arguing that FGU has never ceased to exist, and has been one continuous business entity the entire time, and that while he hasn't been extensively marketing V&V, he's made it available for sale, and has solicited new product...

    Villains and Vigilantes comes back

It's a VERY long story, and one I'm not trying to get into here, as every time it comes up, it always seems to end a flame, as the supporters of each side tend to get rather vocal in their support. For now, I'm content to sit back and let the courts decide who's got a valid claim, though I'd...

    Villains and Vigilantes comes back

3.0 is supposed to be released by Monkey House Games sometime later this year (they haven't set a release date yet). Jeff Dee's been previewing it at cons, and plans to run a couple of demo games over the Summer (as he's still tinkering with it).

    Villains and Vigilantes comes back

I got the opportunity to play V&V will Mr. Willingham, Jeff Dee, and Jack Herman, last month at Gary Con. Bill ran a three day long mini-campaign for us, and we got to play test one of his upcoming adventures. We also got a sneak peak at V&V 3.0, and got to here about some of the upcoming...

    Villains and Vigilantes comes back

Right now there's a legal dispute, as both are claiming the sole publishing rights. They're waiting for the courts to issue a ruling, but until then, both are busy publishing new material, or releasing material that had been on the shelves. There's a whole lot of stuff in the pipeline for both...

    Villains and Vigilantes comes back

Most of the fans want FGU & MHG to work out some sort of deal, but unfortunately it doesn't look likely, which is really a shame, as both have been putting out some fun products. And one thing I forgot to mention is that MHG is working on a V&V 3.0. Jeff Dee has been previewing some of the...

    DC Adventures RPG

And think all I wanted to know was people's overall opinion of the system, but If you guys want to talk about the various builds, and DC inconsistent portrayal of characters like Darkseid and Black Adam, I'm all for it, just in a different thread.

    DC Adventures RPG

So, how many of you have checked out the new DC Adventures RPG from Green Ronin? And what do you think of it? I've had it for a bit, but have yet to run it, as I still had a pretty extensive set up for 2nd edition M&M, and I've been hesitant to convert the material over.

    Villains and Vigilantes comes back

There really aren't that many changes to 2.1, but Jeff's been tinkering with stuff, and posted a task resolution system, and a few new optional rules on the Monkey House Games website.

    Villains and Vigilantes comes back

FGU has posted the cover for their upcoming Escape from the Micro-Universe, on their website. Here's a peak. Over on the Monkey House Games front, Jeff Dee stated that he's busy working on the maps for their upcoming release, In Broad Daylight, as well as checking out an artist for a new...

    Villains and Vigilantes comes back

Most of the math, in V&V, is pretty simple. Once you know which formula to use, you can usually whip a character up in around 10 minutes. Compare that to Champions.

    Villains and Vigilantes comes back

Just out of curiosity, how many of you have picked up the new edition? What about any of the new modules from FGU?

    Villains and Vigilantes comes back

Okay, now that I've finally had the opportunity to read through Danger in the Depths 1 & 2, two latest V&V releases, here's my very quick review. When played together they combine to form more of a mini-campaign, than an actual one shot adventure. In addition to the standard adventure, they've...

    Villains and Vigilantes comes back

Even more stuff Jeff Dee just confirmed that Bill Willingham, of Elementals, Fables, and JSA, is working on a project for V&V. He's already turned in the script, and it's in production. Over at FGU, the next release is titled The Neptune Line. Lots of V&V goodies are coming down the pipe, over...
