    We (the players) always expect a betrayal from one of the npc´s sooner ore later. It is never wise to trust a gnome in any of my gm´s games they are always seedy and evil. :D

    It's easier to count what I dont like. But a realistic medieaval style has always been my favorite. I like it dirty and belivable. I dont like the American high fantasy stuff you see everywhere. To many times illustrators uses to much influences from modern clothing. I just dont think tube tops...

    Dont forget to have a look in toy stores. You can find great looking miniatures of animals that you can use as dire animals and giant vermin and the like.

    Forgotten Realms Novels...which ones are good?

    I have read a few of the novels, but the only ones I liked was written by Elaine Cunningham. If you want inspration though, you could read any fantasy novel. Forgotten realms have room for just about anything.
