    Getting the boys back together

Gilladian I am curious, Our group is about to hit level 10 and above soon. Why does maptool stop working well at that level?

    [LPF] Silent Tide

"what an annoying old geezer..." Robert mutters to himself. "Indeed that seems weird, but that old fart could be insane, got hit on the head from one of those thugs, or hit his head when the human chain went over the cliff. Or maybe that's a future injury of his, when he keeps pissing me...

How important is it that a dungeon makes sense?

The only thing that I really want from a "make sense" Dungeon, is that the theme of inhabitants is consistent (= it makes sense these creatures live together). Like no Unicorn-eating Troll living one door away from a troll-slaying unicorn.

    [LPF] Silent Tide

"Geez, old man, no reason to scream at me. If it weren't for me, you would be down there." Robert points over the edge "All I did, was asking this guy over there a question, while Corbin has him in a situation, that promises some answers."

"Where do we find this Nessian, Mr Thug? Male? Female? Race? Would you answer those for us?" Robert asks the Thug.

Robert is about to jump in to stop Corbin from sending unarmed, but stops as the Cleric is probably bluffing to get some answers out of the thug.

"Thank you very much, Corbin. That felt quite good, the pain in my left kidney is gone. And here I was, fearing to pee blood the next time." Robert remarks, and pats Corbin on his left shoulder as a sign of gratitude.

    Getting the boys back together

I used roll20.net a little. It is a solid program for VTT. You can do some small macros that help along the ride, but I personally don't like the user interface. Though that may be cause I am used to Maptool which is far superior in what I need out of a VTT (=personal taste). But Maptool is more...

At first I thought that was a rejected Costume from Starlight Express... The question is, can she transform into a truck?

"Oh Charity it seems you have some experience with tying down men." Robert taunts his female companion and gives her a big grin.

After the last person gave up, Robert sighs in relief "Thanks you two for keeping them off my back. Everyone else, lets get the last two Persons up here." I assume I don't need to roll to get the last two persons up as there are at least 2 persons aiding and no danger for kidney punches

    [LPF] Silent Tide

"Yargos, help me pull the others up. Charity and Corbin, you are doing a fine job!" Robert encourages his companions. Keep on pulling them up. Pulling the next one up: 1D20+4 = [15]+4 = 19 Robert Kronbark AC: 17 (14 flat-footed, 13 touch) HP: 17/22 CMB: +6 CMD: 19 Fort: +4 Reflex...

    D&D 4E messy's 4e newbie questions thread

In the shield question: Some classes have powers, that require a shield... or at least the Fighter has. They are basically an attack that use the shield and don't depend on the type of shield you have.

    A miniature with heavy flail?

reaper has a human female with a flail edit: also there is a unit in Warhammer Fantasy (named: Empire Flagellant Warband) that uses Flails, though there are several Minis in a package and probably too expansive for just one Miniature...
