    the only race with worse stats is humans. Humans get +1 to all defenses Eladrin get +1 will in other words yes the designers did take note.

    the damage isn't the big issue, it's the +hit. Not that I'm saying it needs to be changed, just that it should be noted in terms of their tactical role. Cha paladins have lousy OAs too.

    Form my experience you don't notice it that much as a DM. But as a player I've been on both sides of the inequity. It just plain sucks to not get face time. And I feel guilty when I dominate the action.

    Because they solved problems most of us didn't realize we even had. Face time balance was a real struggle for a DM in previous editions. A lack of face time equity can lead to sour players. With 4E if you go along with the design, face time is something you simply don't have to worry about...

    take a look at the Artificer class. It's a leader/controller class. Never the less it's not called by it's hybrid role, it's called by it's main role. I'd change it to Controller. In no way could your class replace a cleric. I too would like to see more. Pact blades, rods, Books, Scythes...

    You are right. You did follow the DMG. Only one of the DMG artifacts specifies different moving on effects due to concordance so it's at the very least completely optional. I was just seeing if any one could come up with a prank book that a book would leave to spite someone.

    looking good. Though all your dailies need to do less damage. Look at the wizard dailies (~2d8 for aoe) and the rogue AOE daily (1d8 at most) In other words limit your AOE damage to 1d8 + stat

    hmm. The moving on should probably be concordance dependent. rituals if normal or higher. Ordinary book if unsatisfied. and I'm sure we can come up with something amusing for what kind of book gets left behind if it's angry.

    ok, a thought about AC Warder's AC 10 + 1/2 level + Int + armor + armor enhancement Ward's AC 10 + 1/2 level + Int + 4 + implement enhancement At first level I'd assume 18 int for 18 AC The +4 bonus would also need to increase by tier and have a feat in order to keep up. But for all that...
