Tortle PC race and monsters + net weapon

You only need two hands to stab with it. You can hold it in one hand.

Tortle PC race and monsters + net weapon

    1. it's mostly the +1 AC, it's not much but 4E is very stingy with AC. One thought I had was speed 4 (speed is also a valuable commodity in 4E) 2. they where martial is 3E. Fluff wise fishing with one and taking one into battle are two separate skills.

Tortle PC race and monsters + net weapon

    1. it steps on the dwarf's toes. It feels a bit too strong 2. the trident is plainly superior to the spear often the javelin too It should at least be martial if not superior.

    The Crossbow Ranger?

The best reason I see is that you can multiclass to rogue and make use of sneak attack etc.

    Ninja: Ki Controllers

I'm not sure there even needs to be a 'ninja sword' Ninjas used short swords. It's the same as samurai and katana, just use bastard swords.

    D&D 4E 4e Berserker Class (a work in progress) - updated 07/02/08

Role: Defender. A Brute on the battle field. take a look in the DMG for the monster roles. Fighters and paladins fit the soldier role well. Berserkers fit the brute role. I think both soldiers and brutes fit the the PC defender role. Ditch the shield. ??? I'd make it just a + to...

What happens when a minion crits?

more dice = more random = more PC deaths. since putting minions into encounters ups the amount attack rolls against the players, it was important to lower the risk involved. having minions pwn you with lucky crits would suck.

    Ninja: Ki Controllers

faced with multiple foes, a wizard will be torn to shreds. A warlock doesn't do as much multi target damage, but he'll survive a lot longer. Fighters are rangers are the best classes for soloing multiple foes. Wizards are NOT designed to solo multiple foes. And I've never seen a ninja hide...

    Dragonborn Skylord Paragon Path

I like it. Flight is a paragon level ability that's too powerful for a feat, but a PP is a big enough cost to give a character flight.

    What about a Ranged Defender?

ranged defenders work about as well as melee controllers. while strikers and leaders can be ranged or melee, defenders are melee and controllers are ranged.

    Paladins - Multiple Stikes?

Paladins don't really get much in the way of making multiple attacks in 4E Fighters get some, and rangers get a fair bit. To make a point of it, you can't even attack with both a main hand and off hand weapon unless you have a power that lets you.

    Moving the Bad Guys Around

also note that monsters get to make a saving throw if you try to push them off a cliff.

    aka, yes

    Aggro

It's a standard 4E rule that monsters ignore down PCs. Personally I only ever have recurring villains attack down PCs.
