I caught this at the cinema a month ago, and while I didn't really enjoy it at the time, due to how depressing it is. It's a movie that I still think about to this day. Very original and unique film.

To me 'Unstoppable' is a specific type of power fantasy, but I wouldn't say it's the definition.

That's fair, I'm just not sure how much multiclassing had to do with the decision to make sub-classes at level 3 the standard.

Personally I like multiclassing as an option, in that it can inform/reflect the roleplay. There can be story based reasons why a character might change career during their adventuring life, so it's nice to have a way to express/represent this mechanically.

If you can go up levels, cast spells, kill monsters, it's a power fantasy.

Although people complain about it, I think 5E got the release schedule right. Avoiding the bloat that has bogged down editions in the past was a really smart move. The focus on worldbuilding tool kits over endless lore was also a part of this and an example of something they got right.
