I'm saving that 3rd level aristocrat for another time. :) This particular duke is a moron who's greed and pride got him in over his head. The players know him to be a troublemaker and constantly on the verge of ruin due to his inept rule, and this time it's much too late to bail him out.

The party is an average level of 16 - final encounter is actually going to be an angel of decay that has taken over the duke. This angel of decay should have some cohorts no?

I game tomorrow for the first time after a long restful hiatus. I'm pretty excited and I've been working on my own adventure (not using any modules) of my own creation. So far it's been going well, but now I'm down to the last two freaking rooms on the first part of the adventure and my brain...

I played defense in high school. The one thing I enjoyed about playing football was the ability to legally try to smash someone into a pulp and get away with it. Plus you have pads on so it doesn't hurt...that much. Knocking someone on their ass after you just hit them as hard as you could...

I seem to remember level caps on classes as well, but I think that was after OD&D now that I remember correctly. Then again, don't listen to me, I'm on crack too. ;)

You're on crack. OD&D had more restrictions than anything. You can't do this if your that, you can only have so many levels if you're this class or that race...B.S.
