Congrats!!!!!!! That is always very exciting. But, and this is a big but, many, many, many manuscripts don't make it past the first screening...so ground yourself..and embrace rejection where ever you can find it. Rejection makes your writing stronger and your objectivity more acute. Every...

I'd say something about Geminis but everbody knows that trying to peg one down is an exercise in futility. :)

To be honest it grates more on my nerves than I am actually worried about a missunderstanding. In fact, not being able to go back and fix it annoys me more than if I were to lose the round. That's it...if I'm eliminated I'm going back and fixing it! :)

Boring but true: Wallace Stevens T.S. Elliot Ezra Pound William Carlos Williams I've also come to really appreciate: Robert Pinsky Michael Ondaatje (sp??) Sometimes I like to sift throught the cracks of verse as opposed to being bludgeoned with it.

How many people do you have on ignore? (No names!)

Does skimming count? I've never used the function--but quite often I only read the first few words of each post.

Artist needed for Dusk: Player's Guide

I'm curious as to the estimate work-load, or hrs/week, or deadline you are planning for. Would somebody with an, encompassing, full-time job be able to contribute casually...or are you looking for a bigger commitment?

Combat on a ship at sea... how?

A crew member would have to be leaning over the rail to see creatures emerging from the water...so, I would allow only certain crewman spotchecks--and even then I would let the creatures gain most of the climb before they could be spotted. There are very few reasons for a crewmember to be...
