    Need DM advice

Looks good. I'd give the cheetah a +1 to dex or a +2 to initiative. I've never seen a base move rate really considered a major part of balancing a race...unless it borders on magical. If it is a boost power that is another story though.

Skype player + Table group. What to expect?

Thanks! I really appreciate the honest response. I have a hard time understanding the difference of prep...as I have tons of pre-made tokens and 95% of the time I use a blank grid and freehand the features while I'm talking. Sometimes I use premade or custom maps...but I mostly put those on...

Skype player + Table group. What to expect?

That's great! But, have you even tried a tabletop program? After trying Fantasy Grounds a couple of years ago I even started using it in my 'in person' games just because of the great organization and tracking features. I'm just about to try a multi-player, multi-location game...but didn't...

I do not deny the nonacceptance of this wholly unfabricated event that must never pass as long as you say so.

Right back at-ya! You know, now you have to win this whole thing just to assuage my poor injured pride. So, there is a lot of responsibility with this win. Please think of the children. And good luck!

    Player Distractions.

One must stack dice to keep them warm and supple for the God of Dice...we must not anger the God of Dice. One must doodle to keep one's imagination sharp and hand keenly away from the cheezies. One must stay current on rules and options by reading. One must not ignore one's wife's texts...for...

Thanks for the critique Mirth!!! Really good point about the change of speech. It probably would have worked better if I blended the narrator into expository--fading in and out. I honestly didn't even think of that...really good point. It really would have forced me to tighten up my writing...

    Anybody else have this problem?

I'm lucky enough that this isn't a problem; but, I have played with people who enforce a strict talking rule. The one group had a crystal egg that they passed around: you could only talk if you had the egg. There were penalties associated with it...but my fading memory has bereft me of that...

Thanks for the critique Steeldragons! re: dialect I think that you will find that the sub-African strain and Jamaican accents have long 'a's and 'u's with quick staccato prose in between. While a southern American dialect has tight 'i's and long 'e's and 'o's and will 'drawl' in...

Thanks! I really wanted to put a bit of conflict in my story and at the end have it turn round as to better include the viewer by alluding to other stories. The extra conflict would have added to the (non)tension when speaking to the talking heads. There are a lot of problems that editing...

Thanks for the critique!! You seem to be doing some very fair reviews. I would be curious to know how you grade your picture use though. Your highest grade for a contestant so far was indecipherable to me compared to others. I mean if it is a key plot point, integrates well, isn't just a...

Summer Spark O Magic Well, it all started many a years ago, in a time where the news was black and white, and the only movin pictures scuffled across the screens like magic in the picture houses for the city folk. But we had our own kinda magic…and it lived right beneath us. We lived on a...
