    Atomic Thinktank Down?

Figures. Just when my group seems to finally be shifting moods from fantasy to superheroes, & I want to start going back there, it's got tech-cups. :(

    Shapechange & Epic creatures

I think it could be used to shape into epic creatures (within the HD limits), if only because the "epic" in epic monster isn't a direct game mechanic. A solar is a viable form for shapechange, & it could be considered epic (with the HD & DR & all). I think the klurichir (sp?) is another example.

    Battlefist Questions

I think it depends. If you're using it to enhance a warforged's slam attack, then no iterative for you. I think a WF monk can use it to boost unarmed strikes, though. I'm away from my books right now, so can't confirm it.

Pricing: Magical Bonuses -> Nonmagical ones

Giving up your worldly possessions, but imbuing their functions within yourself? Are the items used up in the process? Again, what's to stop you from still picking up & using other magic items? I was thinking more along the lines of any PC's using it, so as to pit your monk vs the now hamstrung...

    Shapechange: Best of the Best?

That's my answer as well. It also has pretty good non-epic stats, & good AC & DR.

Pricing: Magical Bonuses -> Nonmagical ones

What type of religious pilgrimage? VoP pops into my head now. That can lead to abuse. Is there anything that would prohibit your character from later on using a magic item that would fill the slot? (Also, does your DM use Magic of Incarnum? Or any druids in the party?) Okay, mechanically I...

Pricing: Magical Bonuses -> Nonmagical ones

I'm assuming these abilities would be considered (su), per the remarks about AMF. Questions: 1. How would this be done in-game? (I.e., what's the source of these abilities?) 2. Would these abilities still take up magic item slots? 3. How did you come up with [market price x 2.15]? Right now, I...

    Bo9S: Readying Maneuvers Multiple Times?

Wow, this picked up while I went to work. Thanks in advance for the comments. I'm Cleo & Henry, Hmm, CustServ nay-saying it makes me think it is allowable. Or it isn't. Or it is. ;) (Seriously, thanks for the sources. I'll check them later.) That helps a lot. (For me, anyway.) Being able to...

    Bo9S: Readying Maneuvers Multiple Times?

blargney the second, That's what I figure as well, but I'd like to have a page cite, in case someone in my group decides to use the book. castro3nw, See above. Anyone else... Bueller, Bueller?

    Amulet of Mighty Fist's ....expensive?

Not a book, but the System Reference Document, which in this case, means it's in the DMG.

    Bo9S: Readying Maneuvers Multiple Times?

Can a martial adept ready the same maneuver more than once at the same time? I've scoured the Blade Magic chapter but can't find anything that definitively states it either way. (Unfortunately, I'm so used to certain spell-chuckers being able to memorize a spell multiple times that it occured...

    Amulet of Mighty Fist's ....expensive?

IIRC, slot affinity comes into play for some of that cost. It's still about double that.

Ignoring DR with an unarmed attack

Yeah, I like it too. Could never come up with a character concept I liked in a game I played, though. Actually a monk 16/? 4 [either fighter, swashbuckler, or Shou disciple (if I could rewrite the flavor & my DM okay'ed it)]. Yeah, I mixed up the chaotic/lawful DR thingie. Well, there are a few...

belt of might? +1 or +2 to all scores

For me, the cost according to the creation rules in the DMG; for a +6 bonus: (36,000gp x 6) + (18,000gp x 5) = 216,000 + 90,000 = 306,000gp (& an epic item to boot). Add slot affinity costs as well (another 18,000gp x 4 = 72,000gp, I think), if your group uses them. However, I think the...

    Storm Mage prestige class?

Not sure I...

belt of might? +1 or +2 to all scores

I happen to hate slot affinity, but it's an official rule. I was just showing that the math was correct. (Although, I don't think there was slot affinity in 3.0; maybe there was, but it wasn't published, only used by the game designers.)

    quick ECL question

I think the Cohort LA was just to indicate that the creature would not be suitable as a PC. A creature with a regular LA would be suitable as either a PC or cohort, with the LA the same for either.

    Enchanting Unarmed Attacks

Bracers of striking from Magic of Faerun, & they could be enchanted as a bludgeoning weapon (x2). Granted IUS, too I think. I forget the name & the exact ability it provided, but I think it only granted weapon special abilities, & its cost was multiplied by each natural weapon that would be...
