Does anybody use Master Maze for their gaming?

I use it at my games. I have one set of the standard maze. I also bought 2 each of the 4 x 6 and 6 x 6 extras for my game. I find that I rarely use the walled parts, prefering to use the flat pieces most of the time. The only time I use the walled ones is when I run out. A friend bought me...

    Eberron-as corny as I think?

I have yet to understand the point of these threads. "Oranges are incredible! I love oranges!" "No Apples are great! Oranges suck!" "No Apples suck!" blah blah blah You don't like Eberron's concepts, then don't buy it...that simple.

Is it time to put the "A" back before D&D?

When I was a kid and just beginning to play DnD, I was confused by the seperate books. Maybe I was a dumb kid, but I was only 12 and trying to understand this new and very complex game. Looks like the new shift in books is geared towards pulling in new blood instead of trying to cater to old...

Ring of sustenance in something non-ring like ?

Especially if it did nothing except keep you alive...meaning you were still thirsty and hungry. (thanks for the idea!)

Eberron DM requests advice about PC/party motivations.

I just started an Eberron game with the PCs as POWs in Cyre on the Day of Mourning. As the big blast came, they were swallowed by a living Teleport spell. Five years later, they pop out as an adventuring party of dwarves slew the spell. Now they are dealing with finding thier lives after five...

10 Absolute Truths about the World of D&D

Not to derail, but isn't Eberron built on these truths? I thought that was the point of the setting? Interesting thread btw.

Ring of sustenance in something non-ring like ?

A worm that you swallow. It is set on a command word to crawl out of you (through skin or less savory methods) if you wish to remove. If the owner dies, it crawls out and waits for a new host. :)

    Level adjustment

As a GM, I would simply ask, why do you want to be a drow? Because they are cool and have a neat background? Or because you like the leet abilities they get? If its the former, then take standard elf abilities and lose drow specials because you went to the surface. Still got the cool history...

    Are you a Grognard?

I guess Im a grognard too then. I remember huge SFBs where we had to use Cheerios because we ran out of drone counters for the Kzinti cruisers. Was a Federation man myself.

DriveThruRPG.com to release 3.5 edition Dungeons & Dragons titles in eBook format

I like having pdf copies of the books I already own, but at these prices I would basically be buying the book twice. No thanks. :(

PHB2: Duskblade spell list... is there a correction out yet?

Me and another player in my group had the exact same problem. The way they list the spell list on pg 24 makes it look like the sample pc's spell list, not the one for the class. Anyone notice that if you have a +3 or higher int bonus that you get shafted on 0 level spells? (of course I might...

Night Below: An Underdark Campaign...help me decide!

Agree with Psion. Book 3 would probably fit your needs most. However, that said, Book 1 was a blast to play. It has some great encounters and fun locations. Book 2, while well written is simply not fun to play after a while. (Trolls...again?) The main problem with Book 2 is that it was...

    Shadowrun - Bug City

Bug City...we had a run where our team crashed in an plane in the center of it. All I remember is my severely wounded troll samurai on the front of a semi-tanker of pesticide, chainsaw in one hand and mmg in the other, heading straight for a nest. Good times.

Replacement PCs, how do you handle it?

So how you handle bringing in new or replacement characters in an ongoing campaign? Previous to the campaign that I just started, I usually just made the player make an equivalent level PC with recommended amount of gear listed in the DMG. This campaign, I'm considering starting them one or...

Age of Worms - Campaign tone?

Arg...I would love to be able to write it out for you, but I'm just not that skilled. You just have to watch it. Some other good examples would be Unforgiven or maybe Eastwood's "Man with No Name" westerns. Deadwood is grittier, but they have the same basic feel. hbo.com has episode...
