Well, my favorite setting is "Planescape", hands down. My 2nd favorite setting? "Midnight" from Fantasy Flight. (Though "Dark Sun" and "Ravenloft" are neck-and-neck runners-up.)

My group tried a simple "fixed set of numbers, arrange as you please" system. 18 16 14 12 10 8 Worked out pretty well for us. :)

When we play Arkham Horror, we house-ruled that, to keep everyone invovled as much as possible, the player to the left of the current player reads the "Arkham Encounter" cards (if needed), and the player to the right reads the "Other-World" encounters (again, as needed.) Also, we "assign"...

But remember, a personalized spreadsheet CAN have that 3rd party-stuff, where a WotC one likely would have ONLY WotC feats. See? Every cloud has a silver lining. :)
