I liked it, and am looking forward to the second season.

This is, I believe, the only house rule we have. When minions take damage they get a save; make it and they live, fail they die. This has resulted in more than one occasion of where the big bad has been defeated only to have one remaining minion vexing us for several rounds after.

Is this a common thing with British shows? Six episodes allows for quicker pacing storywise, but it also means that by the time you really get in to a show it is over. I just got hooked on Being Human, and it is the same deal; six episodes and done.

V will snap out of it when dramatically or humorously appropriate, such as when Belkar decides to take the opportunity to look under V's robe to settle a long running dispute.
