OGL: What Are The Publishers Saying [UPDATED]

Wasn't that mostly Clark Peterson who now works as a judge?

    Going Nuclear:1D&D

That depends on whether that bad year happened because they thought that the leading product was undermonetized.

D&D 5E (2014) Keys from the Golden Vault

I miss the days when Dragon Magazine and the WotC website had previews of upcoming books.

D&D Beyond Twitter Account says OGL will be addressed soon

Even if they released an unrevocable version of OGL 1.0a, at this point there's a pretty high chance that 3PPs would use it as a base for a 5e continuation instead of supporting WotCs vision of the game. They regained trust once with 5e using the OGL again, but 3PPs would be foolish to trust...

    Small but fierce indeed.

    D&D Movie/TV Paramount+ Orders 8-episode D&D TV Show

I wonder if these news have been put out now to counter news on the OGL.

The OGL -- Just What's Going On?

WotC made RPGNow, DriveThruRPG and Paizo remove previously purchased D&D supplements in 2009, so it's not unprecedented.

The OGL -- Just What's Going On?

Onyx Path have issued a statement in their Monday Meeting Notes: http://theonyxpath.com/old-grey-labrador-monday-meeting-notes/ Pugmire will move away from the OGL and use its own system and license (they explain it in more detail, but I didn't want to copy the whole page. The idea of a library...

D&D General Are you jumping ship? What will you be switching to?

I'm currently checking the Pathfinder 2 PDFs I got a while ago through Humble Bundles. And then there's Exalted, Trinity, Scion, CofD, They came from ..., Shadowrun, Earthdawn, Midgard and several other systems.

    WotC non-OGL alternative to D&D

There's also Midgard (not the Kobold Press one), but it's currently only available in German. It's rules are somewhat similar to d20, but have been used since the 80s.

But it does. Fourth edition would not have been made the way it was without 3rd party products like Iron Heroes. And 5e's Spellcasting is rather similar to that of Arcana Unearthed/Evolved. Just because you ignore third party material doesn't mean that it won't merge with the main branch to be...

    Going Nuclear:1D&D

I certainly won't listen to a certain song or eat certain food, just because it's the newest version (in fairness, I usually avoid food that's too old, but that says more about the viability of food analogies than my personal taste). If I lose interest in a certain game, I usually switch too...

WotC quietly deleting access to the 3e SRD

Swift and immediate actions are part of the Psionic SRD. Warlock, Martial Adept and Meldshapers aren't, but Dreamscarred Press created PFRPG1 versions of the Meldshapers and Adepts. There's also a 3.5 OGL/ PFRPG version of Binding by Dario Nardi.
