    I miss seeing xp-comments

Maybe put an option in the Settings menu somewhere, so each user can decide on their own whether they want their conversation pure and undiluted, or with XP comments visible? - btw, not criticizing. The job you guys did with bringing this place back to its feet after the hack still amazes me! -

    Paypal option for subscription?

Thanks for the quick answer. If it's a problem located with PayPal, I'll have to find a family member with a card, I guess...

    Paypal option for subscription?

    - not talking about the kickstarter thing - Will there ever be a PayPal option for paying for a subscription without using a credit card? I don't have one, but would like a silver subscription. Since I can only seem to pay via card, it's a pity I can't subscribe!

    I miss seeing xp-comments

I actually only noticed this a couple times. Maybe it depends on the subforum you frequent, but I never saw it as a problem.

Yeah, I miss this feature, too. Bring it back, please!

Pathfinder 1E Paladin Weapon Bond for two weapons

While I agree with parts of your assessment, it doesn't apply here very well: Sneak attack on a Paladin... yeah, no. Crit-fishing... OK with critical feats (which come obscenely late in levels), but relying on flaming burst means you have to shell out for two costly weapons instead of one if...

Ice spells/Supernatural attacks underwater, what happens?

You, mister, will go to the shame corner for an hour now, for that horrible, horrible, TERRIBLE pun!

Ice spells/Supernatural attacks underwater, what happens?

<Bows head in shame> Yes, I know it. How about a blast of air filled with some kind of fine, metallic dust of charged particles?

Pathfinder 1E Sorcerer/Oracle/Mythic Theurge? Anyone tried it?

Important part bolded. Alongside a real caster, she would have sucked goat's balls in comparison. In a party without one, even a theurge build can feel powerful.

Ice spells/Supernatural attacks underwater, what happens?

OP, why not just leave rules as written be in this case and just say that's the way it works? It's a cool encounter idea, after all, and one that feels 'right' and natural to boot. I doubt your players will go "hey, that's not in the Monster Manual! White Dragons can't freeze water with their...

AFC, Spontaneous Domain + Radiant Servant of Pelor

If 'a domain spell' just meant 'a spell that is on your domain spell list', Radiant Servants would cast all Cure X Wounds spells empowered/maximized, anytime, anywhere. I doubt that is the intention. Similarly to Fesic, I'd read 'a domain spell' to mean 'a spell cast from a domain spell slot'.

How do you progress spellcasting monsters?

Well, this thread is broken. I posted here a while ago and never saw my post - and it's still marked as "unread new posts" whenever I visit the site, in spite of staying the same for days.

Pathfinder 1E So far not impressed with Pathfinder

Sure enough. I can totally understand not liking the later 3.5 books. Even to me, they don't "feel like D&D" as much. But they add so much to the game, especially in terms of new and (back then) exciting mechanics: vestige binding, invocations, spontaneous fixed-list casters (Beguiler etc.)...

Pathfinder 1E So far not impressed with Pathfinder

Well, whatever your JAG man found, the rules in 3.5 and PF are the same where casting time for summon spells is concerned. "If you dig you will find the passage" isn't a very convincing argument. Maybe try digging it up yourself if you're so sure? Also, PHBII and following did a lot to balance...

Pathfinder 1E So far not impressed with Pathfinder

I'd agree with you there, Starfox, except for the Malconvoker PrC, which is arcane, and turns your monster summoning up to eleven. But usually, every round in which a Wizard casts a spell that a Cleric could have cast, he's a sucker for that round. Coz being a Cleric is more awesome in every way...

Pathfinder 1E So far not impressed with Pathfinder

Totally agree that in 2E and prior, Lightning Bolt had its place. And I was a little sad seeing the changes when I first pored over my then brand-new 3.0 PHB. However, "more precise targeting in long dungeon corridors" requires the caster to stand in the first line of battle, with no meatshields...

Patently not the way it works. SRD quote follows: Important part highlighted. EDIT: sorry, didn't see others had already replied to this.

Pathfinder 1E So far not impressed with Pathfinder

Umm... the link was generously provided, and you didn't click it. Summoning takes 1 round in 3.0, 3.5, and PF. No nerf there.
